The story tells that Maria, a small town girl in Colombia, went to the United States to smuggle drugs in search of a change in her life. Her friend died because the poison pill in her body broke. Maria helped her friend take care of it and stayed in the United States afterwards. The drug problem in Colombia has never been as simple as a crime. It is left over from the earliest war interests. For some people, drug lord and even anti-American heroes are also a way of making a living for many poor Colombians. Maria’s story is a common phenomenon in society for Colombia or the entire Silver Triangle region and Mexico. From the perspective of the movie, the story is no problem. After it is told in a proper way, it is a realistic movie with a regional color. It expresses that in such a society, the bottom people in Colombia want to get the opportunity to leave this kind of life.
