annihilation

Paris' Notre Dame is on fire. People seem to rattle over the righteousness of each other's opinion. With the holy sword granted by civilization in hand, the majority is flaunting an ostentatious superiority: you petty partisan, barbarian, philistine rats are all unlettered riffraffs !

These comments have ironically depicted our peasant ravishment to nature.

Nothing was heard or saw here, not a damn ripple when Greta Thunberg struck in her scowl last month. Is it because news were blocked or because we the people are simply strike paralyzed. No, there is no excuse for our weakness.

Amidst this energetic online flak, I am once again stupified by the sapient riot, surprised by the power of collective publicity, and above all, saddened or even irritated by their ignorance over the true fire around us all.

We take it all for granted when amends could be made, but mourn like cowards for her lost beauty when doom comes.

This weakness applies to every single one of us living on this land. Not to mention the feeble stance on political disempowerment.

We shall all fear.
