Have you watched "Lost"? At the end of each season, you always think that the next season will solve the mystery of the previous season. However, it does not. Instead, it gives you more mysteries, and then keeps repeating and repeating. There is no dry goods in the progress of the plot. It was endless digging until the show was chopped off. After watching the first season of the castle this time, I found a truth, that is, I am totally unsuitable for watching JJ Abrams's play. Because in my opinion, this person has two fatal weaknesses:
1 He always likes to fool the audience with ambiguous lines and some seemingly unbelievable presences. (The black mist in the lost, the mysterious sound in the castle rock.)
2 He will never explain why there are seemingly incredible existences in his story.
To put it simply, this person likes to set the format of the story to a larger scale when composing a story, but when telling a story, he only talks about the trivial things.
It gives me the feeling that a screenwriter of a B-level film always has the dream of an epic blockbuster in his heart.
When encountering a well-resourced American drama like "Western World", his script may be icing on the cake. But once the resources are insufficient, dramas like "Lost" and "Castle Rock" will be laughable and generous.
