As a sign of the age of resistance, it would be too wasteful to just regard this film as a bizarre love story. Last year I saw a Vanishing Point and a similar work. Even today, wrapped in a jacket that is so intense that it is incomprehensible, these creations have completely subverted the so-called orthodoxy from the inside out, and have become a footnote to the modern world after 1968.
