It's another big production by Director Zhang. Recently, I watched two films by Director Zhang, The Great Wall and The Golden Armor in Mancheng. The biggest similarity between the two works is the grand scene, the large number of people and the uniform movement, just like the feeling of the 2008 Olympic Games. I watched it too much and felt nothing new, very stiff, like that cold armor, without life. Although there are big names such as Gong Li and Fa Ge and their acting skills are also good, they can't save the soulless theme. I hope that Director Zhang will not pursue visual effects too much, and take more care.
