War is meaningless to ordinary people. When fighting against the enemy, everyone is flesh and blood, and they don't understand why they hate each other so much, and even fight each other with fate. If there were no wars, everyone might have a chance to become friends. The pilot of the Black Hawk fighter in the film and Rowlings and Cassidy will surely cherish each other.
After the war, people returned to their daily lives, the battlefield was buried by weeds, and the dead heroes were gradually forgotten. In this meaningless war, everyone has to find their own meaning. Otherwise, what about killing a few more people, what about the death of a battle, are all just being exhausted by a meaningless war. For the people who love, for the people who live together, for all who cherish themselves and those who cherish themselves.
