Forty-seven Ronin

Unexpectedly, Americans are more beautiful, more refined, and more focused on the beauty of classical art than the Japanese. I feel that the director understands this Edo style better than most Japanese.
It’s just a group of Japanese + 1 American speaking in English. I think it’s awkward. After searching for a long time, I couldn’t find the Japanese version. Even if there is a Japanese version, it is dubbed instead of the original sound. The original sound is English. It is really difficult to adapt. .

For the sake of it being a fantasy film, I don't remember the sense of violation of English speaking in this Japanese native. But if it really is a fantasy movie, it can only be regarded as half of it. This "half" is mainly reflected in the male protagonist.

In other words, without this American actor, there would be no fantasy scenes, and the film would become a Bushido-style movie of the Edo period. If it is not made into a fantasy, this male protagonist is completely non-existent. So, obviously a tough samurai-style movie, joins this Yankee, it becomes a fantasy movie. It's a bit nondescript.
