Cool enough, strong enough, warm enough, and I want to ask if I have played enough! (No spoilers rough review)

[WB requires all film reviews to be released after 6.10] The

new version of the movie Superman is directed by Zachs Snyder and supervised by Nolan. Its title continues the way the new version of the Batman series named "The Dark Knight", called "Man of Steel". It is the nickname of Superman in DC Comics. As a new Superman series launched by Warner, the first "Superman: Man of Steel" has no connection with the previous Superman movies and tells the story of Superman from the beginning.

The film is roughly divided into three parts in the narrative structure: The beginning is about the birth of Superman, the events that occurred in his hometown of Krypton and why he was sent to the earth; the middle is the process of adult Clark (Superman) searching for his life experience During the period, it triggered many fragments of his childhood memories. There was also a brief investigation by the female reporter Louis on him. The latter part was the battle between Superman and General Zod who invaded the earth.

This film deeply portrays the inner transformation of the grown-up Superman (Clark Kent), from trying to integrate into human society, to avoiding human society, and finally standing up to help mankind save the earth. Among them, the biggest influence on Clark is his adoptive parents and female reporter Louis on Earth. In addition, this film has made several new interpretations of the original comics. For example, his shirt is no longer modified with nylon tights, but advanced armor from Krypton, and there is no red underwear worn on the outside. His biological father told him that the "S" on his chest was the family crest, representing "hope." Clark didn't meet Louis when he was at work in the Daily Planet, but met in an accident. Of course Clark eventually went to work in the "Daily Planet".
Another thing to look forward to is the villain General Zod. He comes from Superman’s hometown of Krypton. He was close to Superman’s father. After he came to Earth, he has the same ability as Superman, and he can compete face-to-face with Superman, compared to the appearance in the Superman series. Other human villains use the krypton element to deal with him. The director believes that this will be a close battle and will fully stimulate the potential of Superman.

Director Zachs Snyder’s previous works "300", "Pretty Girls Squad" and other films have luxurious and gorgeous special effects scenes, and this film is relatively convergent. The director used a rare single-camera shooting during the filming of this film, and many shots were shot in person. The opening scene on the planet of Krypton is still a beautiful exotic spectacle like "Avatar". In the latter part, the scene of Superman and General Zod fighting on the earth is too long, and the fighting method is too single, which easily makes the audience visually fatigued.

The soundtrack was written by the famous film composer Hans Zimmer. Compared with the cheerful rhythm of "Caribbean Islands", the music style of this film is closer to the "Dark Knight" series, with a lot of oppression and tension plus some dark elements.

Henry Cavill, who starred in Superman, is tall, tall and upright, magnificent, and angular. Superman is simply a character customized for him. He is no less inferior to the previous actors. He started acting in drama and historical dramas. He is very successful in his interpretation of the comic hero Superman. .

The female reporter Louis played by Amy Adams investigates the life of Superman in this film. There are not many emotional dramas, and she has not really become Superman's girlfriend, but is more of a middleman between Superman and the human government.

Compared with the old version of Marlon Brando's Super Father of Life, this version of Russell Crowe has a lot of real and fake roles, and it runs through the whole film. The

villain General Zod is starred by acting star Michael Shannon. This serious and determined Kryptonian general was portrayed deeply by him. The contest between him and Superman is also a classic battle in the Superman series.

Diane and Kevin Costner, who played Superman's adoptive parents, appeared most of the time in the way that Clark recalled. Their education and guidance of Clark made Superman recognize who he was and accepted his identity as an alien.

As a start-up series, the film successfully completed the mission, introduced the origin of Superman, and the changes in his heart, and left room for the future. The failure is that there are too many fighting scenes, too frequent, too boring, and too tired. The two steel drivers fly around, endlessly, destroying the tall buildings on the surface of the earth without stopping.

The classic lines from the Superman comic series appear in the film: "That's a bird? That's an airplane? That's Superman."
There is a detail in the film that shows the existence of Batman Bruce Wayne.
Henry Cavill, who played Superman, was selected to play the 2006 movie version of Superman, but was later replaced by a director change. (He has also passed by Cedric in Harry Potter 4, James Bond in 007, Edward in the Twilight series, the original author of the Twilight series thinks he is perfect Edward, and the film studio thinks he is old The
most touching scene in the film is in the trailer. As a child, Clark wore a red cloak while playing in the yard.

My personal favorite is that Superman came to the church and asked the priest what to do. The priest said, "No matter who your god is, you must dare to take the first step (Leap of faith)"

Man of Steel quotes

  • General Zod: Your son, Lara, where have you sent him?

Lara Lor-Van: His name is Kal, son of El. And he is forever beyond your reach.

  • Father Leone: What's on your mind?

Clark Kent: I don't know where to start.

    Father Leone: Wherever you want.

Clark Kent: That ship that appeared last night, I'm the one they're looking for.

Father Leone: [swallows nervously] Do you know... why they want you?

Clark Kent: No, but this General Zod... even if I surrender, there's no guarantee he'll keep his word. But if there's a chance I can save Earth by turning myself in, shouldn't I take it?

Father Leone: What does your gut tell you?

Clark Kent: Zod can't be trusted. The problem is, I'm not sure the people of Earth can be either.

    [walks away]

Father Leone: Sometimes, you have to take a leap of faith first. The trust part comes later.
