Introduction:
In this movie, we try to illustrate the original impulse of Severina's masochism. Therefore, her story is interrupted many times: it is neither childhood memories nor daydreams, which often appear or reappear in certain typical confused states.
Although these paragraphs try to appear in the form of fantasy in the film or on the basis of the picture, they are no different from other paragraphs, which objectively describe the relationship between the main characters and the development of their relationship.

Long shot, it was autumn, and the coachman and the footman happily drove the carriage toward him, and a moving bell rang. Pushing the camera, Pierre sits on a carriage on a secluded forest path in the Breugne Forest, holding his wife Severina in both hands. The bell gradually strengthened, and the car horn rang in the distance. The camera slowly pans to the left, and the carriage drove towards the tree-lined road by the river. The camera pans up, showing the treetops, everything is quiet and happy.
Following the long shot, the carriage leaves the boulevard and drove oncomingly, the ringing still lingering.
Close-up, shooting two horses from the front of the carriage, the coachman and the footman sitting in the back carriage.
In the close-up shot, Pierre and Severina are sitting behind the carriage.
Pierre (turning to his wife): Would you like me to tell you a secret, Severina?
She looked at him and nodded, without saying anything.
Pierre (holding her hand): I love you more and more...
Severina (slightly smiling): Me too, Pierre... In this world, I only belong to you, but...
She stopped, a little ashamed.
Pierre: But what? ...
She didn't answer. Pierre looked down at Severina's hand in his own hand.
Pierre (continuing to be gentle and affectionate): Therefore, I like everything to be perfect...for your indifference... (he leaned forward and tried to kiss her)
It seemed that these words disgusted Severina. She turned to the other side angrily.
Severina (spicyly): Please don't talk about other things. (Speaking, suddenly pulling away from his hand)
Pierre: I don't want to annoy you... Only you understand that, I think I'm considerate to you...
Severina (staring forward in confusion, some complaints Land): What use is your consideration for me?
Pierre avoided these. It seems that he is suffering.
Pierre (looking at the rut by the road): When you feel this way, you are really cold to me.
Severina (eyes lowered): I'm sorry, Pierre...
Close-up, Pierre stared at the passing woods and bushes on both sides of the trail, his eyes gradually condensed to a certain point. It seems that he is very interested in something.
Moving the camera, he saw about 20 yards from the trail, a big tree standing in isolation in a clearing in the forest, surrounded by dense bushes. The carriage drove through the clearing in the forest; then, Pierre coldly ordered the coachman to stop, and the carriage slowed down.
In the middle shot, the carriage stopped. Pierre's facial expression completely changed. The original gentleness and kindness disappeared. His mouth was closed tightly, and a strange light flashed in his eyes. He got out of the car and brutally and arbitrarily told his wife to go down in a completely different tone.
Severina was indifferent, staring at him bewildered. It seemed that she was not surprised by the change in Pierre's behavior.
Severina: What do you want me to do?
Pierre (calling loudly): I will let you down!
Severina: Why?
Pierre (grabbing her wrist, trying to pull her off the carriage): Come down!
Severina (resisting with all her strength, suddenly yelling in fear): I'm right here!
Pierre: Come down!
Severina: I'm here!
Pierre (ignoring her, turning to the coachman and the footman, ruthlessly): Do as I said. (The camera
moves to the right, pushes up, and cuts out Pierre at them) Panning, the two servants get out of the car and walk towards Severina with their backs to us. She stared at them terribly. Despite her calling, the result of the resistance was that Pierre and the coachman violently pulled her off the cart.
Severina (roaring): How dare you? ...Let me go, you beast! let me go!
No matter how hard she struggled, Pierre walked away. She was caught by the coachman and the footman and walked forward.
In the close-up shot, the two servants dragged the struggling Severina through the bushes.
Severina (Desperately): It was not my fault, I can explain it clearly!
Pierre (calling): Hurry! Don't be afraid to hurt her, little slut! hurry up!
Severina (gasps quickly): Pierre, that was your fault. I can explain everything.
They came to a tree, and the coachman let go of her.
Coachman: Shut up, miss, I will smash your face!
The camera pans slightly to the right, and Pierre stands and inspects the path in front of him, and then takes out a coil of rope from the luggage at the back of the car. The coachman gave Severina a cruel backward slap and pushed her to the ground.
Mid-close shot, overhead shot of Severina's legs and red skirt. The camera followed closely. She was dragged from the ground by the two male servants and walked towards the clearing in the forest.
Severina: Stop, please stop! Tell them to let me go!
Close-up shots, the camera pans to the left, Pierre follows Severina who is being dragged away, with something stuck in her mouth. Severina tripped and she tore something from her mouth.
Severina (desperately for help): Help me!
Fix the lens. Pierre ran back, and brutally forced something to plug her mouth.
Pierre: Shut up, slutty woman!
When Pierre gagged her again, the coachman blocked it hard.
Pierre: Come here!
The camera pans to the left, and they are all in the frame.
Severina is already under the tree at this moment. Close-up, overhead shot, Pierre tied her hands with a rope.
In the middle shot, the coachman stood behind them, grabbing the other end of the rope hanging from the branch. Pierre told the coachman to pull the rope.
The coachman obeyed, Severina's arms were pulled into the air by the rope, and then quickly pulled the rope behind the trunk. Pierre walked behind her and tore off the blockage from her mouth.
Pierre (in a threatening, brutal tone): Don't scream. If you scream, I will kill you, understand?
He tore open his wife's clothes-first tore open the upper body clothing, then the underwear, leaving her back and shoulders bare.
Severina (Desperately begging for mercy): Pierre, Pierre, I beg you...I beg you, Pierre, sincerely...
Pierre stepped back and the two servants turned their backs to us , Holding a whip used by the driver in his hand. When they raised their whip, Pierre walked away.
Middle shot, back shot, the coachman and the footman alternately flog Severina's naked back and shoulders. Severina's painful wheezing was mixed with the whip.
Close-up; shot from a very low point of view, when Severina was suspended by a rope and flogged her naked shoulders, she yelled: Pierre! Pierre, I beg you, don't indulge cats!
In the close-up shot, Pierre leaned under the branch, lit a cigarette, and turned to watch indifferently.
Close-up, back shot, the coachman beat her with relish.
Mid-close shot, Severina's profile, she was panting painfully from the flogging.
The coachman turned his back to us and continued to flog her.
Severina turned her back to us, looking up and weeping in pain.
Mid-close shot, Pierre watched with a cigarette in his mouth. The camera pans to the right, and he walks to the coachman and takes the whip from his hand.
Pierre: Okay, enough.
The coachman stood upright with his head up, his forehead sweating, and he was panting.
Pierre: She belongs to you now. (He looks at Severina) Hurry up! (
Leaves as he speaks) Severina (begging): Pierre, I love you. (Silence, she sobbs in a low voice) Pierre! Pierre!
The coachman hurriedly took off his coat and hat, and threw it away. Pierre looked at Severina from the intersection, and it was not difficult to guess his motives.
Mid-close shot, shooting from the top, the coachman stood looking at her with a whip, with a lustful expression on his face.
In the close-up shot, Severina's hands are still suspended by ropes. The coachman walked behind her, still wearing white gloves, and placed his hands on her bare shoulders.
Close-up, up shot, Severina's face showed a mixed emotion of disgust and pleasure. She was scared, but when the man touched her bare shoulders with his lips, she seemed to feel that this was exactly what she was looking forward to. She closed her eyes tightly and tilted her head back.
Pierre (changed his tone, very naturally): Severina, what are you thinking?

Close-up shot, in their Paris apartment. Pierre stood with his back to us in front of the bathroom mirror, ready to go to sleep. Through the open door of the bedroom, Pierre's face can be seen in the mirror. In the background, Severina is lying on the bed. Pierre turned and walked into the bedroom door while repeating his question: What are you thinking?
Mid-close shot, overhead shot, Severina is lying on the bed in her dressing gown, but is not asleep. The bedside lamp was bright and she kept her eyes open.
It seems that she has returned to reality and wants to cheer up. The lens pans slightly.
Severina (turning her head slightly to her husband hesitating): I was thinking...about you...about us...we drove the carriage together.
Close-up shot, back shot, Pierre is standing by the door. He smiled fondly and walked towards Severina.
Pierre: Or the carriage?
He turned off the chandelier, the camera panned to the left, and he walked to his bed, next to Severina.
Severina (turning to him): I want to kiss you...
Pierre (leaning over and kissing her lightly, then tidying the pillows on his bed): You get up early tomorrow.
Severina: Why?
Pierre (sitting on his own bed): Pack the luggage.
(The camera pans slightly) Severina: Where are we going?
Pierre: Yes.
Severina: Where?
Pierre: For the first anniversary of our marriage, our happiness has grown by one year. It is the sun of last year...
Severina: What about the hospital?
Pierre: I want to forget it for a few days...I only think of you.
Panning, he turned sideways to kiss Severina affectionately.
Pierre: Are you happy?
Severina (touching his head): Happiness, especially when you are here... I would like to be with you all the time.
She leaned over, hugging him with both hands.
In the close-up shot, they kissed softly and stared at each other for a moment. Then Pierre got up, the camera shook, he pulled up the sheet next to her and fell asleep next to her.
Close-up, Severina avoided him with one hand when he leaned toward her.
Severina: No, please...
Pierre (turning around disappointed): Sleep well. (High shot, middle shot, he gets up, then kisses her on the forehead) Good night!
He turned off the bedside lamp and lay nervously on his bed.
(Mid-close shot, overhead shot) Severina (turns her head, swings left and right): Pierre.
Pierre: What?
Severina: Forgive me. You are so good... so forgiving, but I...
(panning) Pierre (crudely): Okay , go to sleep. (He turns to the side)

Long shot. In winter, in a sports field, the sun is shining on the street, with shops and bars nearby, and people are skiing back and forth. Panning, Pierre and Severina, dressed in casual clothes, walked along with René, a friend of Severina's. Pierre slipped and fell on the ice. They all laughed.
Severina: Are you attending the banquet in the Grand Hotel?
Rene: I don't know. Hesson always sleeps until sunset.
Pierre: Let him come and sleep with us. They said it would snow tonight.
Severina took off her sunglasses.
Rene: I would rather go see a hypnotist. It is said that he can perform miracles.
Pierre hugs Severina.
Severina: Well, I would rather not go to sleep.
Pierre: My dear, a hypnotist is different from a hypnotist. He makes the sun rise. The hypnotist plunges you into the darkness.
Rene: Okay, I should go now. See you later. goodbye.
Pierre and Severina: Goodbye.
Rene left. (They are drawn from the left)
Long shot, daylight, in the winter stadium bar. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with cigarettes swirling around. Following the shoot, a few people walked across the bar and stopped at a table where a couple sat there. His wife is Rene, who is quiet and elegant, about 30 years old. The man Henry Husson is about 35-40 years old. He is an unwilling lonely playboy, well-dressed. He looked at every woman who walked in front of him.
Husson (without looking at Rene, asking): What time is it now?
Rene (looks at her watch): Five o'clock. (For a moment) If you tolerate me, I will not interfere with you...
Hesson (raising his teacup, coldly and contemptuously): No matter who it is, never disturb people in the bar... It is different from the church, where you and Your soul is lonely... (He puts down the teacup) I tell you a pleasant thing. I love you. (All this is totally unconvincing, he takes her hand and kisses)
Rene (annoyingly): Thank you.
Hesson: It's up to you.
Rene (withdrawing his hand and shifting his eyes): Oh, you hate me!
In the middle shot, panning, the Pierres leave in opposite directions and enter another part of the bar.
Severina: No, don't go! (She glances behind her) She and Hesson...
Pierre: It's too late, he has seen us. Why do you avoid him? Isn't he that kind of funny guy?
Severina (hostilely): Do you think so? However, I don't like the way he looks at me.
Pierre: Come here.
He asked Severina to come in front of him, and then led her to their friend's long table.
Looking down, Rene and Hesson are sitting at the dining table. When Pierre and Severina arrived, the two men shook hands and the two women kissed like old friends. Then Pierre took Rene's hand.
Rene: Hello, it's you two.
Severina: Hello, Rene, how are you?
Rene: Not bad.
The newcomer sits down.
In the middle and close shots, Rene and Pierre are in the foreground, and Hesson and Severina are facing us in the background.
Hesson (sit down, slightly mocking): I see you left arm in arm in advance, watching each other happily, like a newlyweds. (He laughs at Severina)
Severina ( returns to sneer) : I think we look a little ridiculous, don't we?
Hessen: Oh, no, it looks beautiful...I am pleased, as if it is every day. (He greets Pierre again, the camera zooms in, cutting out two women) But you, Pierre, sometimes what I worry about is...makes my conscience uneasy. We are so different. I haven't really met many men like you, I'm done.
Pierre (surprisingly): Okay...thank you...
Zhongjing, shooting upside down, following the camera, two elegantly groomed women walk through the bar.
Hessen (after looking at the two women, sighed to Pierre): My God...went elsewhere, it’s painful to lose this opportunity...
Pierre (asked to Hessen in surprise): Why are you Say so? Do you know them?
Hesson: No.
Pierre (sneerly): Are you really interested in them all?
Husson (light a cigarette): Yes. Everything else is useless and not worth wasting time at all.
Pierre: One day, you should talk about your confusion with an expert.
(Feature) Rene: Money and laziness are the two main diseases on his body.
(Middle and close shot) Hesson (to Pierre): That's a kind of pursuit... Besides, I also like poverty. I mean the working class. When it snows, I especially think of them...nothing to keep warm...no hope, nothing.
Hesson (looking at Severina, speaking to her in the same lighthearted tone): You are very attractive, Severina.
Severina (staring at him sarcastically): Your compliment is too subtle to me. So please stop talking.
The camera pans back to Rene and Pierre.
Rene: You want him to do the impossible.
Hesson obviously ignored Pierre's presence and continued to stare at Severina. Suddenly, he completely changed his tone again and stood up and said.
Hesson: Okay, I'm leaving now. Three hours away from here, I feel like a migraine is about to strike. (To Pierre) Isn't it too cold outside?
Pierre: No, no. Quite warm.
Hesson: Before dark, I'm going to get some fresh air. See you later, Renee.
Rene (sullenly): See you later.
Pierre: Good to go...
Hesson got up and left. The other three watched him from behind.
Pierre: I like him. He is very interesting.
Severina: He is weird.
Rene: It's worse than anything.
Middle shot, looking up, Husson descended from the sidewalk outside the bar. It seemed that the weather was very cold, so he covered his face with a scarf. The camera followed, and he walked out of a corner and disappeared in the distance. A pedestrian slipped and fell on the ice. It seemed that it was quite mild weather.
Long shots, high-point overhead shots, panning cars traveling along the streets of Paris. This is a noisy street.
Through the taxi driver’s windshield, the road can be seen, and Severina and Rene are talking in the back seat of the car.
Severina: I haven't asked you how Hesson is.
Rene: He is good.
Severina: Do you see him often?
Rene: Yes, it's a pity... Let's not talk about it, talk about something else.
Mid-close shot, in the driving taxi, Rene seemed to suddenly remember something and turned to Severina.
Rene: Do you remember Henriette?
Severina: Remember, remember...
She lowered her tone so that the taxi driver couldn't hear what she was saying, she turned the camera, and cut out the driver.
Rene: Obviously, it was a big turn for her to become a prostitute.
Severina lacked thoughts about her reaction, almost indifferent, as if she hadn't heard or understood well.
Severina: What?
Rene (still in a low voice): That's right, in a brothel... (very excitedly) I think it's true! Obviously, she goes several times a week!
Severina shook her head slightly, as if she was just half-listening, indifferently contemplative.
Severina: Really...
However, her attention was lost; obviously she didn't pay attention to Rene's whispers. Rene couldn't arouse Severina's interest, was a little disappointed, and didn't understand her indifference.
Rene: But she is not great! Henriette!
Severina turned to Rene and looked at her mockingly and smilingly.
Rene: Of course, I know, that hardly exists in your world...
Severina (looks at her, defensively): No, but...
Close-up, Rene looks at Severina.
Rene (interrupting her): Severina, can you imagine this? A woman is like you and me... (she speaks quickly with excitement)... Can you be like her, no matter what kind of man you receive? ...Of course, once you are like this, there is no choice-whether it is an old man or a young man, whether beautiful or ugly-you have to receive them... (she makes a disgusting gesture to stop the conversation)
Close and medium shots, they are watching through the side window of the taxi. When Rene spoke, Severina's facial expression completely changed and became very attentive, but then she seemed to have a dislike for Rene.
Rene: Even if you like a man, there are times when you are upset...
Severina: That must be a terrible weird person. (Again in self-control) But does this kind of person still exist?
In the close-up shot, Rene made an ambiguous gesture.
Driver (interrupting their conversation): Please forgive me, madam... (following the photo, he smiles slyly) They do exist. I promise.
Stop for a while. The two women stared at the driver in quite amazement, and then they exchanged glances. Now that the driver joins their conversation, there is nothing better than continuing the conversation.
Driver: Maybe they are not qualified for the pre-war union. Of course, there are no more red lights.
Close-up, as the driver continued to make comments, Severina continued to meditate.
Driver: They are not idle, you can get them from me. I can show you almost half a dozen.
A close-up of the taxi driver, as seen through the perspectives of the two women.
(Leaning slightly) Driver: That's part of my job, you see... I've been driving a car for 20 years, and I've seen it all...
Reproduce the close-up, Severina is silent, obviously her mind is blank.
Driver: I have been attacked twice, but I am not...the worst.
He finally shut up. For a moment, Severina was stunned.
Rene (abruptly interrupting her thoughts): Hey, what does it have to do with you...
Severina seems to cheer up. She turned to Renee, then looked away.
Long shot, street. After the taxi turned the corner, it stopped in front of the street. Severina got out of the car with some packages, and waved goodbye to Rene, who was still in the taxi. The taxi started and Rene returned to her with a friendly gesture through the window. Severina did not respond to this expression. She was standing on the walkway in front of the apartment where she lived, which was a mid-range, comfortable-looking building in the sixth or fourteenth block. The apartment building is located on a quiet street; the street is quite short, facing a more important street or boulevard. Rene's experience and the conversation with the taxi driver gave Severina a vivid impression. She stayed for a while, carrying her handbag, then changed direction and crossed the road into the apartment. When she walked in, the camera quickly followed, showing the front of the apartment building. Regular shots, with elegant furniture in the living room of Severina and Pierre's apartment. On the low table between the two mustard sofas, red roses are in a vase. The camera pans to the right, and a maid appears in the foreground following Severina.
Maid: These flowers are for you, madam.
Severina: Very good, who sent it?
Maid: Mr. Hesson, Mrs. (She goes) The
camera pans to the left, and Severina walks across the room, obviously thinking about other things. She put her handbag on the sofa and then turned to the vase. She reached out and picked up the sender's postcard, and looked at it and threw it on the table.
Severina (to the maid outside the painting): Why did you put it here?
The camera pans to the right, she said, picking up the vase, and walking to the maid who was cleaning the glass in the next bedroom. Severina slipped on the smooth floor and broke the vase.
Maid (turning around): I'll clean up... (she squats down and puts the flowers in the broken vase) It's okay... Wipe clean with water.
Severina came to face him, drawing from the right. (Note 1) In the
middle and close shots, the camera pans to the right, Severina takes off her coat, walks into the bedroom and stands in front of the mirror. She pushed her hair back and stared at herself. She took a step back, then picked up the hairbrush and a narrow-necked perfume bottle again. When the perfume bottle fell and shattered on the floor, the camera shook down, and she sat down, and the camera shook up and followed the shot again. Severina leaned her elbow on the basin and said to herself: What does it have to do with me today?
In a daydream, she heard her mother calling her: Severina, come on. (Note 2)
[During the day, in the aisle. The walkway is quite long and very dark, disappearing in a bend. An 8-year-old girl ran along the aisle, chasing a ball she threw. She ran to the end and returned. I heard a woman's voice calling her: Severina, come here soon!
Little girl: I'll come, mother!
After she ran away, the ball was still on the aisle.
A plumber walked out of the half-open door. He was a man in his prime, full of life, but rather greasy, dirty, and rough. He has an animal face, like the manservant in the Breuune Woods in the opening paragraph. He put the toolbox in the bag. Walked into the aisle and closed the bedroom door behind him that he had just renovated. At this moment, the little girl ran up to him in the aisle. When she ran past, she was grabbed. He knelt on the floor with one knee and held her tightly with his arms. 〕In the
middle and close shots, overhead shots, and at first saw the little girl kneeling in front of a human body in blue overalls on the floor beside her. The camera shakes, and the plumber grabs her with both hands and kisses her. The little girl closed her eyes and held her breath. Her mother called her again: Okay, Severina, are you coming or not?
[The plumber suddenly let go of the little girl, got up and walked away. She closed her eyes and stood leaning against the wall. The plumber walked out of the hallway door and disappeared. The little girl slipped on the floor, motionless.
Severina's mother: What are you doing on the floor?
The little girl suddenly raised her head and opened her eyes. Then he got up as quickly as possible to answer her mother.
Little girl: I slipped and fell, mother. I slipped and fell.
She said these things with her eyes down, and her rumors were a little confusing. Her face was very pale. ]
(Note 3) Regular shot, night, Pierre's study. He sat at his desk in the far corner by the front desk lamp, carefully examining an article and some lecture notes. He walked across the room and took out a book from the bookcase next to him. Then stand at the desk and read. Severina wore a pink dressing gown over her pajamas and sat on the sofa about two yards away from Pierre. She is embroidering some unfinished embroidery. We noticed that Pierre and Severina were here every night. At the beginning, Severina was still engrossed. Soon she stopped working and asked Pierre.
Severina: How long are you doing?
Pierre (not looking at her): I'm almost done.
He sat down at the desk, Severina got up, went to sit down in another armchair next to Pierre.
Mid-close shot, Severina sitting in an armchair. She stared at her husband for a moment.
Severina: Can I ask you a stupid question?
Pierre: Go ahead.
Severina sat in the armchair, resting her elbows on the desk. The camera is pulled away, and Pierre is in the foreground, sitting opposite her.
Severina: Before I met you, you used to go to those... (she looks like, as if to use a vulgar word, and then say)...places?
Pierre (very surprised, stops writing, looking up at her): That kind of place...no, not often. Why? Are you interested in this?
Severina (concealing her true interest, surely): Everything about you is of interest to me... (for a moment, she adds) it is strange, I think they are all being concealed...
Pierce Er (restart writing and answer at the same time): They all have cover now.
Severina: I can't imagine... what this place looks like...
Pierre: Listen, you have to work.
Severina: Please...
Pierre stopped writing again, surprised at the unusual theme emphasized by his wife. When Pierre spoke, the camera panned slowly until they were in the opposite position and Severina was placed in the foreground.
Pierre: You go in, there you will see many women...you choose one of them and spend half an hour with her... (Severina listens almost enthusiastically; he continues) When you leave, Then I feel that other days are not interesting, but there is no way... (he forced a smile)
Ascarids always grow in the intestines... Severina (suddenly stands up, calmly): Shut up!
Pierre was surprised by this reaction, look at her.
Severina (gets up and lowers her tone): Shut up...please don't talk about this anymore... (after speaking, leave)
Medium and close shot, overhead shot, Pierre sits at his desk.
Pierre (leaning forward, puzzled): What does this have to do with you?
The camera pans up and shifts to the right. He said that he would give up his job, got up and walked to his wife, holding her affectionately with his arms.
Pierre: I can never see you like this. What went wrong?
Severina: Nothing... I'm a little tired... nervous...
Pierre: Go rest.
Severina: Well, you are right. (She kisses him) Good night.
The camera pans to the left, and she walks to the bedroom.
Pierre (begins to follow her): Do you want me to be with you?
Severina (into the door): No, no... (She changes her mind, almost like a child, adding helplessly) Yes, until I fall asleep, I like you to stay with me...
Follow me Pierre walked over and hugged her with his arms.
Pierre: Don't you even want to grow up? (Speaking, the two walk into the bedroom) The

scene changes, the day tennis club. It consists of several places, surrounded by gardens, and the top of a building has been transformed into rooms and bars.
Middle shot, overhead shot, Severina leaves the tennis court, walks from the steps to the club, and follows the shot. On the steps, she meets René who is also wearing a tennis uniform.
Severina: You fight for me. I can't play ball if I have something to do today.
Rene: Are you leaving?
Severina: No, I am waiting for you. see you later.
Rene walked out of the tennis court. The camera pans to the left and Severina walks into the club.
Following the shot, on the side of the club, a pretty young woman walked down the stairs through the glass door and met Severina. She is Henriette.
Henriette (smiling friendly): Hello...Hello!
Severina (recognized by her, quite surprised): Hello, thank you.
Henriette (open the door to her one by one): These days, I rarely see you here.
Severina: Yes, that's true.
Henriette: See you later. (She walks out the door)
Panning, Severina walks into the club and stops to look at the young woman leaving. At this moment, hearing Hesen's voice ringing in her ears shocked her.
Hesson: Ah, this mysterious Henriette...
panning, she turned and walked towards him.
Hesson (walking around in front of her with a smile), a woman with two faces, a double life... It's funny... Did Rene tell you everything about it?
Severina realizes that Hesson always uses Henriette's adventures to arouse her interest and disgust, and make her feel restless.
Severina (without interest): Yes, but... why?
Hesson: For the money. It's very simple. Most women betray themselves, and I am afraid to do that for money.
Hesson (going around behind her, turning to face her): I am very happy to see you today.
The camera shakes, Severina avoids him and sits on a sofa.
Severina: I don't understand a woman like that.
Mid-close shot, overhead shot, Husson stepped forward, proudly showing off his knowledge in this area.
Hesson: Oh, you know, this is the oldest profession in the world. So far, it's mainly done over the phone... Regardless, women rarely do this business away from home.
Mid-close shot, overhead shot, looking at Severina through Hessen, she realized that when he was very interested in speaking, she tried to hide her panic.
Severina (fiddled with her watch contemptuously): You must know a very satisfied family...
Hesson: Yes, I've been to many, and I like it very much. There is a rather special atmosphere about them...Women are completely treated as slaves.
The camera opened, it was hard to guess whether Severina was bewildered by his knowledge.
Hessen: I remember...especially around the opera house...oh, yes, at No.11 in the city of Jean de Saumur in Ana. I have some good memories...
Suddenly, he stepped forward and kissed her on the neck.
Severina (jumping up indignantly, staring at him): What does this have to do with you? Are you crazy?
Hesson (with a casual expression, without shame): Oh, nothing happened. "A petite and cute impulse," in English...a worthless little impulse...
Severina stared at him in disgust.
Hesson (added coldly): Severina, one day I must see you... Of course, without your husband... I admire him very much, but I would rather he not here... (He turned The circle goes to her again)
in the close-up shots, their eyes are facing each other. Hesson hugged her with her arms, but she shrugged with an angry expression. Severina looked at him for the last time, the camera opened, and Hesson painted in the opposite direction. When she walked, she seemed to be concentrating on it.
Severina thought for a moment.

Close-up shot, up shot, Jean de Sommy in Paris. The camera shakes, Severina is coming from a corner and stops. She was wearing a fashionable military-style charcoal gray coat and a cloche on her head.
Street Jean de Saumur, long shot, panning to the right, Severina standing at the corner of the road looking up at the street sign. The city of Jean de Saumur is a group of contiguous apartments located on three sides of the square. Panning, she crossed the railing at the end of the square and continued to go straight, as if fearful and shy, and then stopped across the street corner, about 20 feet away from a barber shop. She looked around secretly, the camera panned back, and she walked across the square again to number 11 next to the dairy.
Medium shot, dairy shop. Severina appeared from the left, standing in the window watching, as if interested in all the items displayed there. She turned her head and stared out of the building from the corner of her eyes. Then, look in the other direction.
Close-up shot, looking up, and following a young woman who is obviously a prostitute. She walks briskly down the street with a cigarette butt in her mouth. She stopped, took the last obstruction, dropped the cigarette butt, and walked again.
Before switching back to the dairy, Severina stood in the foreground with her back to us. A prostitute walked between Severina and the shop window and looked at her carefully. When the prostitute wriggled her hips and walked into the adjoining apartment, the camera panned and number 11 on the upper side of the door appeared.
In the close-up shot, Severina watched her; panning, she turned and hurried across the square.
Long shot, a boulevard in the park, with a tall apartment building in the background. The pupils were running and playing, shouting vigorously. Shaking to the right, Severina came and sat down on a bench in the foreground. In the distance, the bell rang.
In the close-up shot, Severina took out her handkerchief from her handbag, shook her face up, and wiped off a drop of tears. Obviously she is sad. She looked at her watch, then got up.
Mid-close shot, overhead shot, Severina wearing sunglasses, in the town square of Jean de Saumur. Shaking left, she crossed the square and walked into No. 11, hesitantly checked a metal plate by the door, looked around secretly, and then pressed the buzzer and walked in. The name of the metal plate rolled to the door, it said: Mrs. Ana—Costume Design.
After entering the door, Severina avoided the porter on the left and went straight upstairs to look for Mrs. Ana's room. Medium and close shots, high-angle overhead shots, Severina walked up the stairs, it seemed that she was very anxious and lacking self-confidence. She stopped and looked around, the camera zoomed in close-up. There was the sound of singing hymns in Latin.
Mid-close shot, overhead shot, the priest wearing a red hat aside as an adjunct. Push hand in close-range, as he played in the communion cup golden water, said religious terms: Jesus Christ our head of our flesh, so that our salvation to life ......
in close-range, Yang backhand, The priest took out the holy bread to the little girl, but she stubbornly closed her lips and shook her head. The priest urged in a low voice: Severina, Severina, what's the matter?
Severina was back on the stairs, the priest's voice still ringing in her ears. Panning, she came to the first floor platform of the apartment and did not meet anyone. Then walked onto the second and third floors of the platform, again without people. She walked in a door, nothing happened. She looked around and left. Following the shoot, she passed the second door and stopped in front of the third door.
Medium and close shot, fixed lens, there is a tiny metal plate on the door, which says: Mrs. Ana-costume design.
When Severina was about to ring the doorbell, she heard a door in the apartment open. Shaking left, she quickly flashed from the front of the door to the left, fastened the buttons, as if calling the door when she was about to leave. She stood there unmoved. There was the sound of footsteps down the stairs. A middle-aged woman walked by with a shopping bag. She did not notice that Severina continued to go downstairs. Severina waited a moment. The footsteps of the middle-aged women gradually fade away. There was someone on the left, but Severina ignored it. Panning, she returned to Mrs. Ana's door. At this time, the doorbell was rang.
Medium and close shot, indoor. Madam Ana walked to the door and looked through the door mirror. When Severina rang the doorbell for the second time, the door opened. She stood by the door and looked around timidly.
Mrs. Ana (asked her in a low voice): What's the matter?
Severina (hesitatingly): I want to talk to you...
Mrs. Ana: Come in.
She opened the door a little, and Severina came in and took off her sunglasses. She and Mrs. Anna stood face to face at the entrance of the hall. The latter was a 40-year-old woman in casual clothes. She looked at it seriously and smiled affectionately. There is nothing to fault in her attire, nor any rude manners. In front of the hall, everything is symmetrical and has a certain appreciation value. This is not a luxurious set of public departures, consisting of four or five rooms, furnished with ordinary modern furniture. There are some copied prints on the wall. Mrs. Ana closed the door behind her and looked at the newcomer with great interest.
Severina: Good morning, Madam...
Mrs.
Anna (laughing): Good morning... Severina: Who are you... Are you about...?
Ana: This is Mrs. Ana.
Severina (extremely disturbed, difficult to find the right language, stammering): I want to ask...know...
Ana (nodding to another room): Come here...let's talk in private...( Note 4)
Severina walked to the right, the camera shifted to the right arc, Ana followed her with a pair of scrutinizing eyes. They walked into the living room, which was a small room arranged in the same way as the hall (similar to the lounge seen later). This is not a room for customers. In addition to a rest room for Ana and her daughter, it also includes a sofa, a small round table where you can make tea or play cards, and a hand-drawn beverage cart. At this moment, the TV is turned on, and there are magazines and a few books—everything exists in the past time. There are paper flowers and some pretty delicate lamps in the vase. There is also a small closet, although this is different from what the two women saw when they were standing in the room talking.
Ana (to Severina): Sit down. What can I do for you?
Severina (interested, but awkwardly): No, thank you.
Ana (takes out a pack of cigarettes): Do you smoke?
Severina: No, thank you, I don't smoke.
Ana (smiling to comfort her): Don't be nervous. Just treat it as your own home. I would like to help you... please sit down.
Severina was sitting on a sofa.
In the close-up shot, Ana sat opposite her, staring at Severina without concealing her approval.
Ana: You are young Shui Ling, the type we like here... (and sympathetically) I know that it is a bit difficult to start this business, but who doesn't need money? Not sure which day. (The camera moves slightly. She tilts slightly, she holds Severina’s lower forehead, and smiles and says) You take half, I take half...
Medium and close shots, high-point shots of Severina, Mrs. Ana placed In the foreground.
Ana: ...I paid a certain price. (She retracts her hand supporting Severina's chin)
Severina (without decisiveness): Thank you very much, ma'am... but I have to go...
She suddenly got up and walked to the door, as if to leave go. Pan and follow the camera. Ana got up and followed at the same time, grabbing her shoulders, but didn't force her to stop.
Ana: Come, come, now, you are a little uneasy... (she kisses Severina casually, very lovingly and gently) I bet you are doing this for the first time, right? ...It's not so scary, you will understand...Of course there was a little bit at the beginning. As a girl, I didn't want to work here... (She pulled the coat on La Severina's shoulder and said suddenly) You dropped Yi Shun buttons. (Then puts both hands on Severina's shoulders) When would you like to start?
Severina (expressed unexpectedly): I don't know...
Ana (gently): Today?
Severina: Yes, maybe... but only... in the afternoon... until five o'clock... (resolutely) I must.
The camera panned gently, and Ana turned her hand over Severina's shoulder and stepped back to the door.
Ana: Two o'clock to five o'clock... This is a good time. But you must be on time, otherwise, I will be annoyed...but you will be free after five o'clock, and I will count... (she opens the door)
Severina (goes out, but turns around again): Goodbye... forgive me.
Ana: I'll wait for you this afternoon... two o'clock.
Immediately after she closed the door, Severina turned around and lit a cigarette, and walked towards her, seemingly satisfied.

Close-up shot, looking up, and talking, Pierre is wearing a white blouse and a stylish long coat on his shoulders. When he and two other doctors (Note 5) walked through the yard, an ambulance sounded the alarm and drove away. . Pierre looked surprised and even anxious when he saw Severina outside the painting, as if he had heard bad news. He had never seen his wife in the hospital before. Pierre left his colleague and walked towards her, to follow him. He saw her a little disturbed and panting, as if she ran past.
Pierre: What's the matter? Nothing important, right?
Severina: No... I... I was shopping around here and suddenly wanted to see you...
Pierre (smiling to comfort her): I don't think you like hospitals...
Severina: No, I don't Like them.
She put a hand on his chest anxiously, asking for help in diagnosing phobia.
Severina: I don't want to go alone. (She added hastily) I will talk with you when I go out for lunch.
Pierre (cover your hand a little embarrassed her): I can not go, I want the doctor lunch with ...... (he made a discreet gesture to a coworker) I told you this morning ......
plug Verina: Yes, I know, but...
Pierre: I'm sorry... but do you know that we are going out with the Favelet family tonight?
Severina: Yes, yes... (she tried to put on a smile and added) I'm sorry to disturb you...
Pierre (laughs): Excuse me,...see you tonight. I will go home as early as possible.
Suddenly, she put her hand on his chest anxiously again, as if asking for his help.
Severina (painfully): Pierre!
He stared at her for a moment, then led her to the entrance of the hospital, the camera panning slightly. He kissed her on the cheeks, watched her walk down the street, and then left.
Medium and close shot, overhead shot, the stairs of Ana's house. I saw Severina walking up the stairs hesitantly with both feet, stopping on the first floor platform, turning around, and then changing direction to walk, the camera panned up, following her feet to another flight of stairs.
Middle and close shot, name tag and doorbell button outside Ana's door. Severina reached into the screen and rang the doorbell. The camera was pulled away and swayed to the left. As she walked away from the door, she took off her sunglasses at the same time. The door outside the painting opened. Panning the camera, Severina walked in the door. Mrs. Ana stood there.
Ana (with a smile on her face): Okay, I didn't expect to see you again! You left so suddenly this morning... I thought you were scared... (She waved and nodded) Come in.
Severina walked in and Ana closed the door behind her.
Close-up shot of Ana's living room closet.
Ana (enter the painting, open the door to Severina outside the painting): You can put things here...
pan, she takes out the hanger, and walks back to Severina. Severina took off her coat and Ana hung it on the hanger. She was wearing a sewn petticoat, and when Ana continued to speak, she took off her gloves.
Ana: You will see your colleague soon. Currently there are Matilde and Charlotte, they are very beautiful. In short, I only like the people I bring... (she shakes her hand to Severina)... They must be happy! (Walking to the closet while talking and hanging up Severina’s coat. Follow along) You will love your job... (She closes the closet door and walks towards Severina again) Next week, I’m going to fire Metti, Although she is a very beautiful girl, she is too rude...it's a pity...
At this moment, two women are standing by the bedroom door.
Ana (pointing to the room): Come in. (They walk out of the screen)
In the close-up shot, Severina is already sitting on the sofa in the living room. On the table in front of her was a bottle of champagne and several glasses.
Ana: What is your name?
Severina (looks embarrassedly): I don't like... a
close-up of the beverage cart. When Ana greeted Severina, she took out a bottle of cherry brandy from the storage box.
Ana (laughing): I don't ask your real name! Don't you really think my name is Ana! ...I am preparing something to congratulate you on your arrival.
Severina: No, thank you, madam.
Ana: Oh, you have to... some cherry brandy.
The camera shakes, Ana walks to the table on the side of the room and picks up a glass of brandy for herself.
Ana: I must choose a simple and beautiful name for you, easy to remember... If you want, we will choose together...
Severina is still sitting on the sofa. At this moment, women’s laughter came from the other suite, and they were overwhelmed by the rude and loud man’s laughter. Severina took off her big hat and listened.
Ana (reviewing Severina’s reaction, smiling and comforting her): I call him Mr. Adolf. He is one of our best customers. You will find that he is very funny...
Panning the camera, she returns to Severina.
Ana: I have an idea, how about calling you "the beauty of the day"?
Severina (vacantly): Day beauty?
Ana: Because you only came in the afternoon...
Severina: If you like it, OK...
in the close-up shot, overhead shot, Ana almost turned her back to us, put down the brandy glass in her hand, and leaned forward to Severina. The camera pans slowly in an arc, showing a profile image of the two of them. Severina nervously held the cherry brandy glass.
Ana: It looks like you are a little nervous. Relaxation, relaxation. You're up to five o'clock, don't worry... (She lowers her voice, caressing Severina's finger) Is there someone waiting for you? ……Boy friend? ……husband? ...
Severina retracted her hand nervously. Ana immediately calmed her down.
Ana: Don't think that I am trying to make you give up all kinds of things... Give me a kiss...
She leans towards Severina and kisses her lips gently. Severina was a little shocked and began to back away. At this time, I heard a few knocks on the opposite wall of Pu, accompanied by the hoarse laughter of the girl and Mr. Adolf.
Ana: Aha, the girl is eager... (she gets up and says to Severina) Don't go, I'll be back soon.
she went out. Severina was sitting alone, and it seemed that she was very confused. She put down the almost full glass of wine, untied her hair, shook it loose, and grabbed her head.
The open door of the bedroom leads to the lounge. Severina sits in the foreground with her back to us, and hears noise from the other suite: Ana’s footsteps, a door opens, Ana’s voice ( Too low to hear what to say), women's screams filled everything.
Mr. Adolf (loudly): There is a new one, you are hiding it from me!
As he continued to speak, Severina got up and walked slowly to the door.
Adolf: Hurry up and bring her, or I will invite her myself!
Hearing these words, Severina stopped, hurriedly returned to the sofa, picked up her hat and handbag, and then went to Yishu, opened the door, as if she was about to take out her clothes and leave. The lens pans slowly. At this moment, Ana's voice came: Beauty!
Severina hurriedly closed the closet. Panning, she turned back and walked towards the door, still holding her hat and handbag in her hand. Ana appeared at the door and calmly took something from Severina and placed it on the five-drawer chest.
Ana: You will find this is a very interesting person, he is a likable manufacturer. There is a winery in Bordeaux, very rich... come... (she grabs Severina's hand and leads her out of the room) Middle
shot, the prostitute Matilde is wearing clothes behind the blue room screen. She was the one Severina had met on the street, a very gentle white girl with light black hair, a little older than Charlotte, very submissive and reticent. The camera pans to the left, showing Mr. Adolf and Charlotte. He is about 40 or 45 years old. He is a petty and vulgar man, always ready to make stupid comments, wearing a shirt and overalls. He was slightly drunk, smoking a cigarette, holding Charlotte on his lap and caressing. She is a young, lively and beautiful girl, dressed in black and flesh-colored trims. She smiled when Adolf scratched her armpit.
Mr. Adolf: If I don't do anything these nights, I always have enough energy to sleep. (Charlotte smiles happily and pinches his nose) In Brussels, spending another night with a black woman...how easy I am!
In the middle shot, Ana appeared at the door and led Severina into the room. Following the shoot, they came to Adolf and Charlotte.
Ana: I want to introduce the "Beauty of the Day"!
Severina hardly dared to look at the other two women and Mr. Adolf. She was extremely embarrassed.
Charlotte and Matilde (friendly): Hey...
Severina (gently): Hey...
Ana: I will close the curtains for you.
She walked out from the front. Mr. Adolf looked at his watch and was very happy.
Mr. Adolf: Day beauty, I pay a third of my respect to you... You and I have a glass of champagne... (to Ana) Ana, my dear, have a bottle, hurry up.
Close-up, Severina looked at him blankly. She was completely shocked.
Charlotte: You are lucky. They always open a bottle of wine for a new girl...
Matilde (to Mr. Adolphe): It seems that you can always smell the sound through your nostrils!
Mid shot, looking up, Ana draws the curtains. Panning, she returned from the left and walked into the room.
Ana: Talk about it, I'm going now.
She walked in front of Adolf, Charlotte was still sitting on his knees, and he pinched her ass... When Mr. Adolf stared at her lasciviously, we heard her greet the maid to leave. (In fact, Ana is still a very attractive woman)
Ana: Palaz!
Mr. Adolf: A beautiful woman! ...Nothing wrong...everything is genuine.
Charlotte (guessing his motives): Stop talking. Let me tell you... She is too advanced.
Mr. Adolf: That's why it's called baby. (He goes up to hug her, kisses her plump breasts, then pats her ass)
Charlotte: Just listen to him, don't give up!
Charlotte got down from Mr. Adolf's knee, the camera panned up and moved to the left, she walked towards Severina, who was watching the unpredictable course of action.
Charlotte (watching Severina's noble women's fashion): It's beautiful, that...but you should wear some clothes that you can take off quickly. (She turns to Mr. Adolf) Isn't that true, Mr. Adolf?
In the close-up shot, Mr. Adolf is watching Severina closely while chewing on his cigar.
Adolf: Oh, no, it's okay! I think she should put on a beautiful little dress. It looks elegant, I like that.
Matilde (in a blue dressing gown, walking deep and kneeling beside Mr. Adolphe): I was once praised by you, and God knows how long... well, I like you almost like other things! (She nods to Severina's costume)
Mr. Adolf: I am not the boss of a big bank, Rothschild, my dear!
Matilde: Bad luck.
The camera pans up and shifts to the left, and Matilde walks towards Severina, looking closer at the skirt.
Matilde: The style is beautiful...the workmanship is also good.
Charlotte (pulls up her tights): Oh ha! When you have money, it is easy to dress well.
Mr. Adolf: So what is your temperament? Can you buy it?
Ana came back and brought a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, and Palaz followed with a plate of glasses.
Ana: This is champagne.
She greeted her with a satisfactory common name. The camera shifts to the right and shakes down, and they put the champagne and glass in front of Mr. Adolf.
Mr. Adolf: Oh ha! I feel thirsty...
Medium shot, overhead shot from high viewpoint. When Ana turned around and talked with Severina and Charlotte, Palaz began to tear the wire around the cork. Mr. Adolf got up and took the bottle from her.
Mr. Adolf (to Palaz): Give it to me, it's a man's job. I’m the person who drives champagne metal corks in the world, don’t you know?
Palaz walked away, Mr. Adolf smiled and started to open the bottle, and began to sing carnivally:
I like ham and sausage. When it
is a good thing, I like ham,
but it
is better to have a pair of pleasant thighs... the
cork is facing right The face jumped up as he sang. The foam splashed around. Charlotte and Matilde screamed. Charlotte got up and hugged Severina with her arms, and when he was full of wine, she turned and raised the glass.
Mr. Adolf (loudly complaining): This is because it is not refrigerated... Champagne above 8 degrees is like tea.
Ana: I'm sorry. If I knew, I would put the wine bottle in the refrigerator.
Charlotte handed out glasses one by one.
Mr. Adolf: But you know exactly, I am coming as usual.
Ana (watching Severina): I didn't know the beauty of the day was coming.
Mr. Adolf (lifts the glass and cheers loudly and happily): Cheers to the health of your dearest people!
Toast everyone.
Ana (looking at Severina): Cheers to the health of "Day Beauty"!
Everyone did it. Severina mixed everything she witnessed with surprise and fear.
Adolf (lowers his wine glass): This wine is not bad except for a bit warm, Aha?
Mr. Adolf’s jacket hung behind the sofa, underneath his neat shoes. In the foreground are the legs of Severina and Charlotte.
Mr. Adolphe: Aha, Matilde! Almost forgot! I will bring you a little gift!
The camera shakes, he enters the painting, and Matilde follows. He rummaged in his jacket pocket, took out a small box and handed it to Matilde.
Mr. Adolphe: This is yours...
Matilde: What is this?
Mr. Adolphe:
Take a look... Except Severina, everyone is watching curiously. She stepped back and stood behind them. Mr. Adolf smiled knowingly.
Matilde: Thank you.
She opened the box, and inside was a doll, and a long-joined snake leaped in front of her. She was so frightened that she screamed, everyone else laughed fiercely, and Mr. Adolf put his arms around the two girls and kissed Matilde.
Ana (indulgently): He is always so funny...Every time there are new tricks...
Only Severina didn't laugh. In her opinion, everything is unfamiliar and fresh.
Mr. Adolphe: This is a joke!
(Middle close shot) Mr. Adolf (with his arms around the two girls): Then what happened to me, I love life, and I want everyone to be happy.
The girls were smiling, and Mr. Adolph fell silent when he looked at Severina outside the painting. The camera pans to the right, and he walks towards her. Ana watched from behind, watching Severina's reaction carefully.
Mr. Adolphe: Oh! Day beauty! (He strokes her chin) Why are you sullen? (He goes from one side to her other side, the camera pans to the right, Ana interjects and asks her: What's the matter with you?)
He put her champagne glass on his shoulder, and the glass fell to the ground and smashed. Shaking under the camera, he sat on her bed and began to unzip the zipper of her skirt.
Mr. Adolf: Look...I hope we have a pleasant day.
He tore off the skirt and forced her to fall on the bed. Severina called, broke free and rushed to the side. The camera shakes, and Mr. Adolf stretches his feet to stand up.
Mr. Adolf (asked to Ana in surprise): What's the matter with her?
Ana (walking to Mr. Adolf, lowering her throat): I will take her out for a while. You must not force it... This is the first time for her.
Mr. Adolf (suspiciously): I've heard of it for the first time before.
Ana: That's true. I swear.
She gave the cup to Mr. Adolf, the camera shifted to the left, she walked out, and now Zhanniang entered the corridor in silence.
In the middle shot, Ana continues to step into the corridor towards Severina, the camera shakes slightly. She stood with her back to us.
Mr. Adolphe: She is a lunatic. Who makes her proud, this woman!
Matilde: Oh, she is a novice.
Ana held Severina's shoulder with her hand and slowly returned.
Ana (laughing): That's good. You have succeeded. Mr. Adolf is a straight-forward person, don't be troubled with yourself. What he wants to do, just do it.
Severina (listening nervously, walking towards the entrance of the hall suddenly): No, I want to leave. Let me go.
Ana: What?
Ana blocked Severina's way and forced her to stay.
Ana (changed her tone, bluntly and contemptuously): Okay, come here. How long will you have to play this trick? Have you ever thought about where you are? (The camera shakes slightly, Ana pushes her towards the room) Go!
Severina had a strange expression, as if fearing everything, wishing to escape, suddenly disappeared. It seemed that she wanted to treat her this way, it seemed that she wanted to do it this way.
Severina (submissively): Yes, I will go, ma'am,... I will go.
Mr. Adolphe: I want to be alone with her.
Ana: What do you need to stabilize. it's OK?
The camera opened, Charlotte and Matilde came out from the door, and walked past Severina without saying a word. Severina walked forward, and when hesitated at the door, the camera shook slightly to the right, and Ana appeared.
Ana: Go! (She walks into the room)
Medium shot, inside the room. Mr. Adolf washes his face with a towel by the corner basin. The curtains are closed tightly and the lights are on.
Mr. Adolphe: Aha...Hello. (He
turns off the lamp on the top of the basin and the door of the room) Severina is next to the door behind her. The camera pans to the left, and Mr. Adolf walks around the end of the double bed towards Severina.
Mr. Adolf (unbuttoning her dress): I drove some other people away... more intimate like that...
She stayed unnaturally when he opened the front of her dress.
Mr. Adolf: It seems this is your first time. (The camera pans, and Adolf sits on the bed and pulls her towards him) Take care! (He strokes her with his finger) I am a little nosy. Don't tell me any lies. (He strips off her dress and looks at her body.) Remember, if it's true, don't feel ashamed.
As he pulled her closer, Severina began to look around in despair and bewilderment.
Mr. Adolphe: Don't tell me that you are still a virgin at your age... Well, anyway, I will find out later.
He wanted to kiss her, but she resisted. She stared at him as if the man really frightened her. Panning, she broke free and sat on the side of the bed. Mr. Adolf followed her, and she looked at him in surprise.
Mr. Adolf (gently): How? Are you afraid of me? You don't like my face? (When speaking again, his tone hardens) You have to get used to it, baby.
He pushed her down on the bed and kissed. She panted, then flung away, and rushed towards the door, followed by Mr. Adolf.
Medium shot, the lower half of the door. Severina's legs rushed towards the door and slammed apart. Mr. Adolf caught her, and she resisted angrily. The camera pans up and moves to the right. He grabs her arms and pushes away from the door.
Mr. Adolf (angrily): Oh no! Don't try to escape like that.
Severina was still struggling, and he pushed her to the bed.
Mr. Adolf (insulting): Who do you think you are, little prostitute? (He slaps her in the face) You seduce me and then refuse me... You can act arrogantly for a while... I'm fed up.
He threw her on the bed cruelly. The camera shakes, and she lay down motionless. Shaking up, Mr. Adolf stopped, panting a little. He smiled triumphantly and looked at her.
Mr. Adolph: Okay, that's better... (He dismisses his straps dismissively and takes off his pants) What kind of brutality do you need, eh?
Afterwards, he leaned on her and shook the camera. He began to kiss her brutally. She did not resist.
Bedroom (regular shot). We first saw Matild and Charlotte, then the camera followed and Ana appeared. They all sat around the table. Deep down, the TV is playing. Charlotte and Ana are playing a gin Lanmi card game (Note 6), and Matilde is sewing something. Charlotte threw down a card.
Charlotte: Plum J.
Ana (starts to play the cards): Plum J...my gin card.
Ana (placed in the foreground, pours a glass of brandy from the trolley, and raises the glass): Adolf... It's done right now.
Matilde: He always does.
They all laughed.
Ana (put down the glass, picked up a card, and put it in her hand triumphantly): Gin!
Charlotte yelled disappointedly in mockery.
In the middle shot, Severina leaves Ana's apartment suite. It was almost five o'clock at the moment. When she came out, she stopped for a moment at the door and hurriedly looked around. Then, putting on her sunglasses, she quickly went away along the sidewalk, followed by the camera, and finally she disappeared in the dairy.
On the same day, at home, Severina took off her clothes and took a shower, and we saw her in the bathroom through the frosted glass. She scrubbed her neck and shoulders vigorously, then bent over to wash the rest of her body. The camera pans down following her. She scrubbed with great effort, as if to wash off any suspicious odors from her body. Panning, the lens moves over the towel hanging in the bathroom, resting on the washbasin and narrow-necked perfume bottle. In another similar bathroom, the camera pans up, and Severina comes out of the bathroom wearing a pink bathrobe and a pink towel around her head. She stood in front of the dressing table and picked up the lipstick, and the camera panned, reflecting her lipstick on in the mirror. Then she turned around and picked up her bra from the sofa behind her, still in the mirror. Shake down, in the foreground, she picked up the rest of her underwear from the stool.
In the middle shot, Severina left the room with her underwear. The camera pans to the right, and she turns into the living room, where there is a firewood burning. When she sat down in front of the fireplace, the camera followed the shot. She threw her underwear and stockings into the fire. When it burned, she pushed the clothes down with a poker, and then heard the front door of the room open. Panning, she left the living room in astonishment and rushed into the bedroom.
Looking down at her bed from a high point of view. The camera shakes up, and when she enters the room, she quickly lay down on the blanket and closed her eyes, holding her breath motionlessly, pretending to be asleep. Pierre's voice came from the living room. He just walked in looking for his wife.
Pierre: Severina, where are you? ……are you ready?
She did not move at all and did not answer. Pierre went into the bedroom, turned on the light, and was surprised to find his wife lying on the bed.
Pierre (lower voice): Aha! You are here, is that you? what happened to you? What happened? (He walks up to her anxiously and sits on the edge of the bed) Are you sick?

Buñuel made a prostitute's daydream noble and elegant, and at the same time pierced the disguise of the moral desire of the middle class. Driven by desire, such a dignified woman wants to break the reality and pursue another kind of distortion, and then the dream and reality become blurred, and celebrities from all walks of life with strange and strange ways of satisfying come one after another. end. As the lines say: money and leisure make people pervert.
