To be honest, I always divide comedy into two types, one is funny and the other is humor. The former is for example the bankrupt sisters, and the latter is the modern family (although it is not as good as before). There is no judge which is good or bad, only the nuances will be silent after one makes you laugh, and the other will say Holy shit, that was good after you laugh. Fortunately this drama is the latter, otherwise I don’t know the four. How old-fashioned actors (Jane Fonda 77, Lily Tomlin 75, Sam Waterston 74, Martin Sheen 74) watched the entire season intently.
Reality is the biggest feeling. Although the characters of the two families are a bit too facial (I instantly thought of meeting my father-in-law series), this did not prevent the screenwriters and actors from expressing the three-dimensional image of the characters.
The deepest reflection is that just after the incident, Grace called Robert, and Frankie wanted to take the co-branded beach house as his own. This scene did not make me feel that Grace was selfish and calculated, but that it really should be. It is the most practical move of an elderly woman facing divorce. People always think of themselves, especially in the face of adversity and shock. This is nature. This is not a national drama, thank God. The
other scene is a fall in the Froyo shop and an ankle break. The result turned out to be Grace's fantasy. I don’t think this is a waste of ink either. Grace’s personality is obviously insecure. She strives for perfection and needs complete control. At that moment, although she sneered at Frankie who took out a bag of coins, she knew that she was the only one. She can rely on it. Jane Fonda is looking for an MRI monologue that makes people cry.
The deepest feeling is the part of Yam Lube. I really never imagined the sex life of the elderly. In my mind, the elderly are almost in two different dictionaries with sex. After watching that episode, I instantly felt that I almost silently equated the elderly with the disabled. Grace and Frankie's former prison student student make out the scene is really not lost in any first-line actress's sex scene, it is amazing.
The rhythm of the whole play is well grasped in an orderly manner. While the protagonists’ personalities are vividly portrayed and three-dimensionally portrayed, the depictions of the four children are also the finishing touch. Life is like a thunderstorm, and the secrets of the usual thoughts are well hidden. I only hope that it will be a dinner. How much everyone fucked up will flood the bank, and the dominoes will overturn the chain reaction. Fortunately, this is not a European movie. If you want to say false, it is my fault. In the end, it is always good. Life is like this. If everyone can be forgiven, then why is there no possibility of turning to a better page in life?
Is it the mellowness brought about by age or the story that takes place in California, when a person decides to show his true self in his twilight years, the end is affirmation full of love. Are the two husbands consummated or the two wives? I don't know, it's really good anyway, it's like going through a difficult and dangerous journey by supporting each other, loving and forgiving to get out of the predicament. It can grow once in the ancient sunset.
In that scene, Frankie touched Grace's tears and said that there is a whole new world. I was really moved.
I remembered a sentence in the Bible—the old things have passed, and they have all become new. In the new heaven and new earth, all negative people, things, and things have completely disappeared, and even the traces are nowhere to be found.
Thank you for your love.
