Rashomon

Most TV series can't wait to shake out the burden of the main characters and key clues at the beginning of the story, for fear that the audience is impatient to watch it. The Affair is quite spineless, but it does the opposite. It is well evaluated in all major rankings, and the Rashomon narrative style with a flat perspective of men and women is ingenious. The details of the conflict between the two perspectives are unclear, whether it is a memory bias or a contradiction in perspective, or whether there is a hidden reason for each side's insistence. This "suspense drama" has done enough work on the details and the psychological portrayal of the characters. So far no one cares about who is the victim of the murder, but the pace is too slow, you can watch it when you have time.
