Ten years, the classics are difficult to reproduce. Many viewers who have given high marks may not have seen the version ten years ago. If they have watched the 2004 version of "Violence Street", they will inevitably compare the two movies because of the characters in the story. There is basically no major change in the relationship.
This remake is still relatively unsuccessful. If the remake of the film does not have a particularly outstanding performance, it is difficult to surpass the previous work. The more classic the film, the greater the risk of the remake.
David Bailey is obviously much older, and he is no longer the lush young man he used to be. This parkour-themed film may not be suitable for Paul. Paul's drag racing may compete with Riel Rafi Rod, but his parkour action is still a lot worse than him. Many difficult actions are obviously used as substitutes. This is very different from all the thrilling actions that were done by the protagonist himself. Set a verdict on top of one another.
The performance of the actors in the whole film is far worse than the original version. The performances of K2, the gang boss, and the small gangsters are not satisfactory, which is not the same as the original version.
The two male protagonists didn't feel any communication, they just read the lines mechanically. There was no communication in the car where the two were transferred from prison. Paul directly dealt with the two police officers. After getting out of the car, the two of them fought together inexplicably, and then made up inexplicably.
When entering the missile code on the last rooftop, there was no excitement as before, and the performance at the mayor’s office was also particularly like a hurry to call home and go home for a date.
In short, this is a relatively failed remake.
