Analyze the Thai ghost film "Ghost" from the perspective of women's sociology-ghosts will always follow their loved ones

Just after Halloween, I skipped all kinds of ghost calls on the body. I was worried about papers, so I just went to the long pond trail and walked, still thinking about papers and hot pot. . . My roommate recommended a ghost film "Ghost", Thai. We watched it together on the sofa in the living room at night. She revisited it. I also temporarily let go of the entanglements in my heart and devoted myself to the ghost film. Thinking of writing ghost legends in the thesis, I think this stuff might inspire me, and I feel less guilty.

Ghost movies are the type I have always liked, because ghost movies reflect social reality under the premise of scary. Many ghost movies or ghost stories actually teach the living how to live, and they have profound social connotations in them. The most common one is revenge ghost stories. I don't have much research on Thai ghost movies, and my roommates have watched a lot. I always think that Thai ghost movies are just dropping their heads, and they feel superficial and bloody, not as good as South Korea and Japan, but "Ghost Movies" changed my mind. This film was made in 2006, which was quite early. After watching it, I suddenly felt very sad. It is indeed sad, especially the line: The ghost will always follow the beloved, reluctant to leave. . . If you don’t mind my in-depth analysis from the perspective of sociological women’s studies, I think there are many things behind this film, and it makes people feel sad. Because it is not a pure vengeful ghost story, Nata still has no relief in the end, so the worldview it embodies is not accurate enough and misleading.

Let me first describe the original story: The male lead and the female lead are boy and girl friends. They had a car accident one night, thought they had killed someone, and then escaped. The male protagonist is a photographer, and he found that there are shadows in the photos he took. This phenomenon is called spirit photograph abroad, and it is common all over the world. I am also more interested in this topic, but I finally chose another ghost story with another motif. At first they thought it was the ghost of the person who was hit to death, but after investigation, it was found that there were no reports of casualties or accidents. As the plot develops, the heroine begins to explore the whole story. The female ghost deliberately guided her. She discovered that the female ghost knew the male protagonist. The male protagonist said that they used to be classmates in school and underground lovers. In fact, I have never understood why it is an underground lover? Because this girl Nata looks very introverted and extreme, so the "high, rich and handsome" male protagonist is unwilling to admit it? But Nata really loves the male protagonist. The male protagonist longs for a Canon SLR, so Nata remembers it and gives it to him. But everyone should have guessed the plot that followed. The protagonist got tired of the girl and proposed to break up. . . Social reality and routines that have remained unchanged for millennia. The extreme Nata even cut her wrists to save her feelings. From the present point of view, even if Nata has the psychological dim conditions for being a female ghost to harass the male lead, in the eyes of ordinary people, it seems that the male lead's empathy does not end there. Of course, this is just a story told by the male lead to the female lead. If this ghost movie ends here, it won't really be interesting. More exciting in the back.

The protagonist and the protagonist began to go to Nata's house to investigate the reason why Nata left Bangkok. Nata's mother welcomed them warmly. And when they saw that the so-called "she is sleeping" in Nata's mother's mouth turned out to be a mummy with potion and put it in a quilt, they thought it might be that Nata's soul could not be obtained in this way. Rest in peace, so she proposed a formal burial and cremation. At the same time, several friends of the protagonist committed suicide. With the cremation of the corpse, everything seemed to be getting better. But the heroine finally discovered the truth of the matter under Nata's prompt. Back then, the protagonist was eager to get rid of Nata, and his friends patted their chests to assure him that they could handle it. Then they blocked Nata, who was experimenting in the laboratory, and raped. At this moment, the male protagonist appeared, with the camera Nata gave him. The logic of this place is a bit weak. The host's friends saw him and immediately asked him to take a photo, saying that she would not report them after taking the photo, which was equivalent to threatening the victim. My friend said: "What are you waiting for? We are buddies!!!" Then the male protagonist tilted his head and couldn't bear to look straight and took a picture of Nata who was raped on the ground with his camera. Nata also The tragic cry for help "X, help me" turned into an expression of extreme resentment.

Finally, the heroine who knew the truth shed tears, and of course she had to break up with the heroine. The host is shouting in the house, where are you? You come out! she left. . . Then use Polaroid to take pictures of Nata's ghost. He never noticed anything unusual in the photo immediately taken until he threw the Polaroid to the floor in the distance, and the Polaroid automatically took a photo-this is the classic of the whole film, and it is also my home. A place where friends talk about it. After seeing the photo, the male protagonist jumped from upstairs-it turned out that Nata had been riding on his neck, so he couldn't take pictures of her. Then he understood why his neck hurts more and more and why he weighed Sometimes there will be 120 kilograms...

The points I want to analyze are as follows:

1. Why do men use nude photos to threaten women to escape crime after raping women? ? ? Isn't the photo taken entirely as evidence? The conclusive evidence is much more reliable than semen or DNA. A picture explains it all. But the criminal actually asked the male protagonist to shut up the victim by taking pictures. . . What a deep cultural fouling is this? If women do not think that they are ashamed of being raped, and if they dare to report the crime and dare to fight for their rights, how can men get away with such a stupid method? ! This is a long-standing social psychology, and male power is very interesting. Men think that women are ashamed or afraid to make the process of their humiliation public, so they will swallow their anger, which aggravates men's doing whatever they want. The social environment has become an accomplice. If society does not discriminate or treat humiliated women with colored glasses, and if society supports women through a normal mood of encouragement, how can women hide their killers? ! And who is fueling the arrogance of criminals?

2. Women are broken shoes, just play; brothers are siblings, which is more important. This may be more obvious in Eastern societies. The male protagonist can help the so-called "brothers" because his friends don't care about the feelings of the women who used to be his own women, and ignore the ones who love the others the most. It really portrays the psychology of modern men to the fullest! Men see this, should they reflect on it? I'm not saying that all men will ignore their women and be violated by their friends. I want to say, why do men value so much "buddies" who don't seem so important? ! Because she loves the male lead so much like Nata, she can die for the male lead. There is no doubt that his friends will? Of course not. But in fact, sociological analysis cannot be presented through simple perceptual representations. In fact, the feelings between men are more obviously based on social relationships, which, to put it bluntly, is personal connections. Women are at best a tool for venting or entertaining, and their lack of social status will not help them in their future development. But brothers are not the same, brothers can be developed and help each other, this is the simplest truth. What would happen if a woman didn't? Don't a lot of rich women automatically throw in a lot of arms? Therefore, in the hearts of men, women themselves do not occupy an important position, which is in the same line with their social attributes. Just like what Martin said in the folklore course, in narrative folk songs, the probability of women dying for men because of love completely kills the possibility of men dying for women. Men will not die for women. Martin is our professor.

3. Why didn't Nata choose to redeem herself? This is the saddest point for me. Because of the various acts of revenge that she had seen before, it made people feel resentful that she could solve a little bit through her revenge, but at the end, she realized that her revenge was actually a cage for herself. So this film, apart from warning men not to play with women's feelings at will, it has no deeper social connotations, which is a pity. The reason is this. At the end you will find that the male protagonist was rescued and went crazy. In the lunatic asylum, his neck became more and more curved—because Nata had been sitting on it—the emotion they reached in this way. The blending and "sheltering together." But why? Why does Nata not redeem herself, but as the producer of the ghost photo in the play said: "Sometimes, a ghost is unwilling to leave the person it loves." . . It suddenly dawned on me that it was still "love". That's all, she still loves the male lead, just as the male lead shouted when looking for her ghost with Polaroid: "I thought you always loved me until you died." . . Yes, she still loved him until she died, so she would always pester him, let him see her sitting on his neck all the time and have a nervous breakdown. And all she did was to punish the perpetrator while letting the heroine leave the hero—this is her ultimate goal. She wants to be alone with the hero, and she does not allow other women to appear among them, so She drove away the heroine by exposing such a cruel secret. . . She actually did all of this because of love, but not because of hate. This is the saddest thing I find!

Why are men like that, and the ghost Nata still loves him? Do you even hesitate to "stay together" by turning him into a neuropathy? I believe that the reason why the male protagonist's life was normal before, and all this happened after falling in love with Jane is because Jane became a character that Nata could not tolerate. The setting of the screenwriter is meaningful in it. What women should reflect on is that there are some people we should love, and how should we love them? If a man doesn't take responsibility, or even shields his brother to hurt you, and you still indulge and don't let go of liberating, then it is really hopeless, you can only hang around like Nata. The story of the film is only extreme. The social reality is that if your boyfriend angers you because of his brother, because he underestimates you, you can also underestimate him. Because the status of both men and women is equal, we should never be second after brothers. If social reality is what we have to, then we would rather choose to live alone. Because, we have never been someone's vassal, while we are wholeheartedly to you, if you are still a lot of heart, then I'm sorry. We're not Nata, we won't be so stupid, you can go and get involved with your buddies!
