Bitter fatherly love

It's probably not a beautiful thing for father and son to meet in prison. Therefore, from the very beginning, it was destined to be a black, cold, and almost desperate tone of the show.

A lot of scenes in this film are swear words and fists facing each other. In this filthy and filthy world, the young man Eric has turned himself into a "hot character" with his fiery temper and strong fighting ability. As a father, because he doesn't know how to express his love and how to communicate with his son, he can only use simple and direct commands and silent observation to complete the communication with his son, of course, with little effect.

Years of loneliness and abuse made Eric become sensitive, rude, and indifferent. He also relentlessly refused to extend a helping hand, even hurting his inmates who kindly sent a lighter to his inmate.

In the eyes of the police, inmates, and social workers, Eric is really hopeless. As a father, his best hope is that Eric can survive. In order to save his son, he went all out. Such a picture may seem cruel, but it is the truest portrayal of father's love.

In the last few minutes of the film, Eric finally called "Daddy". This was the moment of separation, but it was also the moment of revealing his heart.

This is probably the most awkward, the most disturbing, and the most rude of the father-son theme I have ever seen. Nevertheless, as an audience, I am still very moved. The love between parents and children has no cost.

This film is a typical British independent film. When it gets dark to the end, even gentleness is very stingy. They have already given up the chicken soup for the soul and live by their temperament. No matter how dark the life is, the worst thing is to lose their lives, leaving the audience with distress. Watching British independent films can hardly get positive energy, and even make the decadent heart even more depressed. They went further and further down the road of self-defeating. Therefore, without a strong heart, you should watch less British movies.
