Brosnan is obviously old, he is no longer the 007, he has appeared like a dead actor. There was a beard growing up here, although at a glance, it was the elegant agent.

Julian is a killer, but he has retired for a long time. He suffers from phobias. When performing tasks, he always regards the goal as himself or the shadow of his childhood, so he can't start and missed many tasks.

When he came to Mexico, he met Danny, who was also in trouble in his career. The two had a conversation in the tavern and determined that they were good friends. Danny wanted to test whether Julian was a killer, and asked him to demonstrate how to kill, almost killing the tycoon in the racecourse.

Back in the United States, Julian came to visit Danny's house, Danny promised Julian to help him complete the task. However, Julian missed again. This time he changed to Danny and went crazy, trying to help Julian.

In his transformation, Brosnan has not worked as an agent for many years, and has lost his original brilliance. It may take a long time to interpret different roles to change his special position in the hearts of movie fans.

The Matador quotes

  • Mr. Randy: Goddamn it, Julian, you leave the game, even for a while, I don't know if they'll gonna let you back in. And then what the hell are you gonna do? Waste your days picking up illiterate teenagers for suck-and-fuck sessions behind the Old Navy store?

Julian Noble: Sounds delightful to me.

  • Danny Wright: [discussing possible escape routes] That door over there, if it weren't locked.

Julian Noble: A Vietnamese girl I once knew had her legs so locked together I couldn't get a whiff of her spring roll. Two drinks, half a quaalude later, I was at an all you can eat buffet. Every lock can be broken. It's just a matter of will and whether it's worth it.
