Even supporting roles are tomorrow's stars: Hayden Christensen, who plays his son, was nominated for the Golden Globe Best Supporting Actor for this film, and later appeared in "Shattered Glass", "Jumper", "New York, I Love You"; Jena Malone ("Into the Wild"), who played the neighbor, later appeared as Lydia in "Pride and Prejudice", which left a deep impression on people.
