summary of the story

About my understanding of the story.

This village is a village where everyone has abandoned their religious beliefs. Everyone has been "deceived and hurt by God" and no longer believes in God. Then the male protagonist family is a believer of Satan and brought them a new lord.

They have kept their first child for generations and killed the children after the second.

When the little girl was about to be killed, she revealed that she was the power of an angel sent by God to punish them and killed her brother.

Then the people in the village tried every means to kill the angel and couldn't succeed. Only believers in God could kill the angel.

The heroine is a Catholic whose first-born daughter was killed as a sacrifice by a backward tribe. She gave up her faith because of the death of the child, but she did not fall into the arms of Satan, so she meets the conditions for killing an angel.

So the actor and they designed to fool her, and implied that her little girl was a demon, and used her hand to get rid of the angel.

I guess that priest was in their gang and tricked her to kill the girl, so he was also punished and burned to death.

Finally, the heroine discovered the truth that these natural disasters were actually God’s punishment for these cruel murders of the heirs, and realized that it was not God’s will to kill her daughter at the time. The view of right and wrong is very complicated, and the view of right and wrong of God and man is not the same).

The last of the natural disasters was to kill all the firstborns, so all the people in the village were wiped out by the sky fire.

Then when the two escaped, the heroine found out that she had been secretly raped by the hero, and she was pregnant with the so-called perfect second child, which will be a sign of Satan's resurrection, which means that the story of this evil village is not over.

But I always feel that the end of this horror movie is a bit awkward and redundant.
