Maternal love is great

This movie is adapted from Nakata Hideo's original movie "Ghost Water Swordsman". I haven't watched the Japanese version, so I can't compare the differences between the two movies. As far as this American version is concerned, there are not many horror atmospheres or plots in the movie. On the contrary, the movie that impressed me the most was the mother played by Jennifer Connelly and the heavy maternal love.

The horror environment created by this movie is actually not too bad, from the hazy sky to the almost gray exterior scene, and the interior is like the dim lights of 10F and the basement, plus the buzzing that the protagonist hears. The noise also adds some horror atmosphere. However, the progress of the movie's plot was a bit too slow, and even half of the movie did not have a real horror plot.

Tim Roth also appeared in the movie, of course, only as Dahlia's lawyer, the relationship is not a very big role, and some plots involving him feel a little redundant, and even have nothing to do with the theme of the movie, as if it was added. Same. The Ceci described by Ariel Gade is innocent and cute, and the acting is amazing and wonderful.

The most moving scene in the movie is in the elevator, Dahlia, who has already stretched out her hands for the ghost, braided her daughter who is about to leave for the last time, tears can not help but tears into the eyes.
