Hollywood male stars are not easy to do. They are over fifty and still require handsome looks, sexy figures, good singing and dancing, and acting skills. Daniel Day-Lewis, who is one of the few Hollywood double actor and actress, has so magically fulfilled the fans' expectations of the male protagonist. Although watching him hop around on the stage shelf really made him sweat, he still performed the whole segment satisfactorily. Just like what he sang himself, I want to be young, I want to be old. Although he has passion when he is young, years can bring wisdom. However, the male protagonist who has dealt with too many women still faces the failure of his career and the breakdown of his marriage.
My favorite is the main actor's main room, Marion Cotillard who has played Liang Xiao Wu Gu and Rose Life. She interprets the wife of a flower-hearted artist with the nobility and elegance of France. Such a woman is destined to be bitter. As the director's husband, she has not been at home for a long time, and she has continued to gossip. When she sang the first song, she rolled up her hair and wore a little black dress. She sang the song quietly. The tears in her eyes showed that she understood and cared about her husband, although she was still a bit wronged. . However, after being deeply hurt by this man, she made up her mind to leave. When she pierced the man's mask, she loosened her hair, sang and danced, and accused her husband of not being wrong. No matter which image, Marion Cotillard proves her beauty and her unique temperament.
Nicole Kidman's performance was a bit beyond my expectations. For the first time, I thought she was acting really well. In fact, she doesn't need to work too hard. She just puts on her evening gown, stands in front of the camera, turns her head slightly, smiling and spreading her hands, which is to turn all beings upside down. The goddess in the film, maybe this is herself.
Then there is Penélope Cruz. From the poster, it can be seen that she is synonymous with sex in the play. More seriously, she is called Xiangyan...
In the play, the most memorable singing and dancing performance is not from the protagonist, but from Stacy Fergusonnine's tambourine room, with yellow sand and her explosive voice, which definitely supports her reputation as a singer.
NINE's cast and role positioning are quite accurate. Needless to say, Judi Dench is an old drama player; Kate Hudson is a fashion reporter. Although she may not be as good as other predecessors in singing and dancing, she will perform it with some American girls. The child's boldness and openness is also good; Sophia Loren may not look as good as when she was young, but her face is synonymous with Italy.
And each of them, almost the first shot they appeared on the scene, explained their role positioning, and showed the characteristics of their respective roles vividly and exquisitely.
As a new work by the director of CHICAGO, NINE's singing and dancing are quite outstanding. The plot may not be a breakthrough, but overall, as a musical, it is still worth recommending.
