Few people have seen it

I bought this movie from a smuggled disc of 10 pieces and 3 pieces from Yejiazhai.
In terms of advanced consciousness and satirical effects, "Fahrenheit 451" is obviously not as radiant as "A Clockwork Orange". The structure of the story is relatively simple: people whose thoughts are imprisoned and controlled resist, oppose, and fear all the carriers of thought. This buddy montag plays the role of a messenger of suspicion, and finally breaks a hole in the dictatorship environment... But to I don’t agree with where the film’s techniques are so brilliant. Orwell’s novel "1984" is much more black and humorous.
This one, can't I compare it like this

Produced in the UK? The world in Truffaut's mind doesn't necessarily appeal to the audience, but it must be a colorful and strange place.

Fahrenheit 451 was Truffaut's first film in color and the first in English. 451 degrees Fahrenheit is the ignition point of paper. In this world, books are strictly forbidden, and reading is a crime. Firefighters' job tasks have changed from extinguishing fires to setting fires. They have alienated into thought police, and burning books is their daily job. The film is a dystopian science fiction film, full of critical political awareness and sharp introspection. Books are the spark of thought, and burning paper still cannot destroy the spark of civilization. The male protagonist finally becomes a bookman, which is not only the awakening of consciousness, but also the victory of civilization. In the new world, books remain in the mind that cannot be burned, and civilization has a continuous vitality.

    Clarisse: Yes, I adore it.

  • The Captain: Come on now, madam. We're going to burn the house.

    Book Lady: No!

The Captain: What do you want, martyrdom?

Book Lady: I want to die as I've lived.

The Captain: You must have read that in there. Now, look, I'm not going to ask you again. Are you going?

Book Lady: These books were alive; they spoke to me!
