Juice by Sarah, Juice by you

Tragedy is not beautiful. Real tragedy will only make me sick. "Requiem for Dreams" is such a film. From time to time, I compare it with "Guessing the Train", but this film makes me more disturbed and scared. "Training" will feel a process of redemption and growth from time to time. In "Requiem of Dreams", except for the desperate family and friendship, it is all cold. The truth is that no one cares about you. The nurses in the hospital talk about winning or losing at the gambling table when they give you compulsory feeding; the prison guards only vent their dissatisfaction with their lives and hope you will die early; let alone drug dealers and prostitutes. All this makes the crazy happy slogan on TV seem so empty and lonely. We can say that this society has taken medicine and has become a fan. This is bigger and deeper than individual drug addiction, and it is even incurable.

The fall of a dream is called disillusionment. In order to let the dream rest in peace, we need "Requiem of Dreams". In the real world, we need dreams, consolation, and stimulation. Everyone uses different methods to obtain them. When we get more, we need more and more beautiful ones. It is best to hold our breath and dazzle people. White powder can do it, LSD can do it, special weight-loss drugs can do it, TV commercials can do it, and pyramid schemes can do it. Which one do you want? Anyway, we have to be juicy, radiant in front of everyone, and very refreshing all over the body.

Dreams are good, starting from the first dream in childhood, they are all good at first. In the hustle and bustle of the crowd, dreams began to become elusive, and they began to feel painful and happy, which is called chasing dreams. It turns out that dreams can make people sweat and hurt people. The moment you wake up from a dream is too helpless. I would rather choose the body to crawl in the dark and mud, step on the dream under my feet, and discard it by the pillow.

Even so, it is still glowing, and as we drift away from it, the light becomes more and more faint. At this time, it seems that someone said to you shame on your life, loser; make yourself fucking juicy. This sense of distance and frustration is vomiting, as if you lose your qualifications for a moment.

Accept the physical torture. The spirit and the flesh are inseparable. Some unsatisfied desires will evaporate in this physical torture. When the disillusionment is reached, the water of life is slowly drained.

Harry Goldfarb: Then what's the problem?

  • Harry Goldfarb: [Harry has just found out that Sara is on diet pills] Does he give you pills?

Sara Goldfarb: Of course he gives me pills. He's a doctor!

Harry Goldfarb: What kind of pills?

Sara Goldfarb: Uh, uh, a blue one, a purple one, an orange one...

Harry Goldfarb: I mean, like, what's in 'em.
