I saw the warmth and touch that animals bring to people

Buck was originally a carefree big dog. He lived in a rich town. The owner loved him very much. So he was a bit naive and stupid, so he was stupid when others wanted to take him away. Believe it! But he has always been an enthusiastic dog, and can't bear to hurt a little rabbit. He will protect him when he sees conflicts between close people and others, but there are always experiences that allow him to grow slowly. The competition in nature is a bit hateful. The training that humans gave him allowed him to call out his wildness step by step. This wildness is not bad or cruel, but better to protect himself and the friends and family he cares about. I am really touched!

The Call of the Wild quotes

  • John Thornton: This is a map of the Yukon. My son was always reading adventure stories, crazy about the news coming out of the Yukon. Wasn't the gold, he didn't care about that, it was the mountains. He spent all day looking at maps and pictures of the mountains, dreaming about was on the other side, places no one had been, wild places. We could go, you and me, see what's out there. What do you think?

  • John Thornton: [narrates] There's a place in these mountains where a new breed of timber wolf roams, wiser than men or wolf, because of the dog that runs at the head of a pack. Now... they live without fear, raise their young and flourish.
