"The Secret History of Lola" and "The Twin Peaks"
Attempts to find relevant information failed. David Lynch seems to have never said how the Secret History of Laura had influenced Shuangfeng's creation, and even so, the many clever connections between the two are hard to ignore.
1. Start the narrative around Who killed Laura.
In the second half of "The Secret History of Laura", even though it was discovered that Laura was still alive and another girl died, the audience still kept watching with the doubts of Who kill Laura.
After the Laura case was solved, the ratings of "Double Peaks" dropped sharply. Because the things that drew people's appetite were gone, and the traditional criminal investigation plot suddenly turned into supernatural power and metaphysics, many people felt inexplicable and mysterious.
2. The crow that pecked Laura in "Two Peaks" and the person who murdered Laura in "The Secret History of Laura" is called Waldo
3. The veterinarian who treated the crow Waldo in "The Two Peaks", the murderer Waldo in "The Secret History of Lola", both were named Lydecker
4. Laura's portraits/photos appear frequently, through everyone's memories of Laura, interspersed, flashbacks, flashbacks, promote the development of the plot.
Although the two Lauras were dead and non-existent girls, they completely established the protagonist's position in this way.

When I watched "Twin Peaks" before, I thought about asking who the protagonist and heroine of this show are. My first reaction must be Cooper and Laura. Although Laura doesn't have many roles, and Sydney Lee, who played her, is not in the opening credits but in the special thanks at the end, but she has a really strong sense of existence.
This is probably a feature of the portrait pedigree. You say she is the protagonist, but she is not. You say she is not but she is full of her.
Coming from the appreciation of Gene Tierney's beauty, as a Shuangfeng fan, I was really surprised to see this movie. I didn't expect these connections. Watching movies can always reap unexpected happiness.
