A bad film by the little old man, unwatchable

The film is schizophrenic— attempting to juggle with comedy, romance, and noir all at once but unfortunately left all three genres compromised and crippled.

Starting off with a premise implausible, plot points are half-developed, conflicts contrived and resolution hasty; characters are insipid and lethagic, acting is stilted, dialogues blasé and monotonous to the point of just being boisterous and annoying; camerawork is pure amateur job and sound design is next to nothing,

As much as I love Woody Allen, this is simply terrible.

The plot of the waste incineration plant is very scary, but still not as strong as the final de javu brought by the hanging ladder and mirror of Orson Welles. For a second, I felt that I finally waited until I was scared in front of the old TV as a child. that film.

4.0 The theater pays tribute to Orson Welles's "Miss Shanghai" section is very good. When I saw the backstage mirror of the theater in the previous section, I had a foreboding that there would be a tribute scene. The whole script is compact and interesting, Woody Allen's handy story and the relationship between the sexes, Angelica Houston is so beautiful and so beautiful in this film!! (The music is used too well, take five/ out of nowhere/ sing sing sing/ I'm in the mood for love)
