Happiness is built on pain

I bet that hangover is the best comedy of 2009 (it would be a different story if you put Twilight Saga: New Moon in the comedy genre), although only 2/3 of 2009 has passed, because It's been a long time since I saw a comedy created so hard.
The film is still full of vulgar jokes, funny plots and cheap dialogue, but it is essentially different from other cheap comedies in that hangover has a very clear story line, and it has also spent some time on the design of some details. Kung Fu, for example, when bastards go to the rooftop of a hotel, after opening the rooftop door, Alan always pushes an object against the door. This shows that the door can only be opened from the inside and not from the outside. Open from the outside to the inside (this design should be designed to prevent theft), which logically makes the key point of the whole play more complete. On the one hand, it continuously distributes laughter, and on the other hand, it does not forget to try to spy on human nature while being stubborn. It is no wonder that the box office in North America will be popular all the way during the summer vacation in North America.
These years, comedy films are becoming more and more popular, and good comedies are rarely bought. Because everyone thinks that comedy is funny, isn’t it easy to be funny? So, for example, funny films such as "Perfect and Nine Beauty", "Ouchi Secret Agent", and "Raise Your Hand" have been launched one after another. But what about "Smiley Fruit"? Anyway, I don't like it at all. In my opinion, among the movies, comedies are the most difficult to make, and comedy scripts are the most difficult to write. Because you have to have a "bridge", you have to have a "material", and you have a "brain". It is not what you can do by laughing at the sky three times. But this year, how many people have such talents? Or are you willing to devote all your energy to designing wonderful bridge sections? No, instead, they are just some so-called "comedies" that rely on exaggerated body movements, rely on old jokes circulating on the Internet for a long time, and rely on those who only talk to think that they are funny.
Therefore, I think those who make comedies are the saddest. On the one hand, they bring laughter to others, but on the other hand they leave the pain to themselves. For example, Chaplin, after reading some of his life introductions, he is actually not good at talking and laughing in private. On the one hand, it is related to his growth and political stance, and on the other hand, it is also caused by his own dedication to art. Another more obvious example is Zhou Xingchi, who has been labelled "withdrawn" by the media in recent years. The laughing craftsman in front of the scene, but behind the scenes, gives an unhuman impression. But I can understand Zhou Xingchi very well. If you are not crazy, you can't survive. Who can understand the pressure in his heart? Comedy requires hard work to create laughter, no wonder his hair is quite white.
Finally, I would like to support those comedies that directors and screenwriters like hangover put in their minds to create. I know that my happiness is based on your pain.

The Hangover quotes

  • Melissa: Why would you go to Las Vegas?

Stu Price: 'Cause my best friend was getting married, and that's what guys do.

Melissa: That's not what *you* do.

Stu Price: Really? Well, then why did I do it? Huh? 'Cause I did it! Riddle me that! Why'd I do it? You know, sometimes I think all you want me to do is what you want me to do. Well, I'm sick of doing what you want me to do all the time. I think, in a healthy relationship, sometimes a guy should be able to do what he wants to do.

Melissa: That is not how this works!

Stu Price: Oh, good! Because whatever this is ain't workin' for me!

    Melissa: Oh, really? Since when?

Stu Price: Since you fucked that waiter on your cruise last June! BOOM!

Alan Garner: You told me it was a bartender.

Stu Price: Oh! You're right. I stand corrected. It was a bartender. You fucked a bartender.

    Melissa: You're an idiot!

    Stu Price: You're a - You...

    [struggles]

Stu Price: You're... such a bad person! Like, all the way through to your core!

  • Officer Garden: [to Phil, Stu, and Alan, after they are taken in for stealing a police car] Think you gon' get away with it? Not up in here!

Officer Franklin: [lividly] Not up in here!
