Tough Guy Detective

A new and refreshing detective with too much personality.

If you refuse to accept it, do it, grab the gun empty-handed, ignoring the police and ruining the flowers.

All in all, break the romantic imagination of the detective industry.

The male lead sent the female lead to prison in the end, not for justice, but felt that the female lead would threaten him with a broken bird in the future, so society!

In terms of subject matter, it takes detective novels from puzzle games to a higher level.

In the end, the male protagonist's dream-making material (referring to broken birds) is a true portrayal of the disillusionment of dreams, which implies the mentality of the times?

The plot is quite satisfactory and the scene is rather small. Most of the plot takes place inside the house.

I thought there would be a reversal, like the Maltese eagle being tuned by a female assistant; another layer of scraping reveals gold; everything is designed by the heroine, like the Jinpeng dynasty in Lu Xiaofeng.

It turned out that in the end, there was really only the fight around this broken bird, and the partner and assistant wife really just came to visit the hero. Ps: People at the time, when watching black-and-white movies, they thought of color scenes. When I watched it for nearly a hundred years, it became a true black and white movie.

about the black bird! Regardless of the reviews, I think this is a good movie that deserves 5 stars! The interaction between Mr Spade and Mr Cairo is so cute...

The first time I saw Bogart's movie, I thought he was ugly at first, and the more I watched, the more I thought he was actually quite attractive.

The Maltese Falcon quotes

  • [to Spade]

Joel Cairo: No, no. Our private conversations have not been such that I am anxious to continue them. Forgive me for speaking so bluntly, but it is the truth.

  • Sam Spade: You gotta convince me that you know what this is all about, that you aren't just fiddling around hoping it'll all come out right in the end!
