About the departure of Mr. Hunter

I've seen the name of the movie a long time ago, but I didn't see it because I felt it was a bad B-rated movie. Finished reading today.

This is the best vampire movie I have ever seen in 2020.

In the end, Mr. Hunter's departure was understood by many as jealous and old-fashioned. . . . Don't know what they think

The following is my personal understanding.

First of all, the film can be labeled as a vampire movie. Although the vampires in the film are no different from the zombies, if defined by the zombie film, the discussion about religious beliefs in the film cannot be well demonstrated.

Generally speaking, vampires and people are a religious contradiction.

It is God and the devil, and the divisions between people and people, such as Christianity and the Brotherhood, are also in this contradiction.

And there is another contradiction in the film, that is, family and bachelor?

Mr. Hunter is obviously a bachelor, and the boy is the kind of person who yearns for family.

The despair brought about by the doomsday in the film forced people like hunters to abandon the original family concept, so after the hunter rescued the boy, he never raised him as a son. The two of them started out as the relationship between the boss and the assistant.

The boy’s original family was destroyed by a vampire and was rescued by Mr. Hunter. His long walk with Mr. Hunter was undoubtedly influenced by the idea of a bachelor. Just like the boy who left the human settlement with the hunter, although he wanted to stay, he still did not forget the pain caused by the broken crude family.

As the film progressed, the two began to have teammates, and then continue to lose teammates. Although these teammates are just passing by the boy, they undoubtedly formed a family feeling in the boy's heart.

At the end of the film, Mr. Hunter looked at the scar on his face, and when he eavesdropped on the conversation between the boy and the girl, he knew that he did not belong to any family. It might be caused by the numbness and pain of the death of family and friends, perhaps because He didn't show mercy to others, anyway, Mr. Hunter knew he couldn't have these. I was already like this and could no longer affect the boy who was still growing up, so I left.

Family ethics alone are not enough to interpret the behavior of Mr. Hunter, nor is it enough to interpret this film. But I think it must not be to be jealous or to leave because he is old or something? Besides, he can recover if his hand is disabled. People have a strong fighting capacity. These alone cannot explain why he left.

The film is really good-looking and flawed, but it doesn't affect it.

Literary and artistic road zombie film, the boy's voice is sad and fresh, the BGM is beautiful, and the long shot before the airdrop of the vampire is taken very well. Many pretenders who read countless films gave this film one or two stars. It can be seen that if you are a fool, you can only be a second star if you read countless films. In addition, if I were the bad guy, I would choose a petite and tender boy instead of a tall and sturdy nun...

If you say this is a vampire horror movie, it is good but it is different from the ordinary R-rated plasma film. The whole film is full of a warm apocalyptic feeling and the sluggishness of a literary film. The relationship between Martin and Mr is said to be more like father and son between master and apprentice. Finally, Mr.'s departure highlights Martin's maturity. The string score is great, but the graphics are really bad. The monotony of the lens language highlights the simplicity of the small production.

    Mister: She is.

Sister: What are you going to do?

    Mister: Kill that thing.

    Sister: Go with God.

    Mister: Lock the door.

  • Martin: In desperate times, false gods abound. People put their faith in the loudest preacher and hope they're right. But sometimes they're wrong. Dead wrong.
