Just finished watching the movie "Waitress". There is a song in it, and the heroine was singing it the first time I heard it.
Baby, don't you cry, gonna make a pie
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Baby, don't be blue, gonna make for you
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Gonna make a pie from heaven above
gonna bE Filled with Strawberry Love
baby, do not you Cry, a PIE gonna the make
the Hold Forever in you at the Middle of My Heart
this is the first mother sing children's songs to listen to, really beautiful, and to what extent the United States is only good Those who have watched the movie can understand.
I saw some reviews about this film on VeryCD before I went to the movie. The About website wrote: The death of the director Andrinie Shali has caused the film to get too much attention that shouldn't exist. My first feeling was to regret her death, but after watching the movie, I think I will never listen to any film reviews on this website. For such a movie, is this all you can say? Well, if the people who read this blog have not watched this movie, then from another more intuitive point of view, the rating of "Transformers" in IMDB is 7.7, and the rating of this movie is 7.9, and this Is it possible for a website to comment on this movie? Craps.
Let's talk about the movie itself. (I am not a professional, so I can only start from my feelings.) I think this is not a movie that I can give a high score on the plot, because if the introduction is only a simple summary of the plot, it is completely impossible for me to watch it. . (I admit that the introduction on VeryCD is quite funny, so I will watch it...) However, the absence of a wonderful plot does not mean that this movie has any fatal injuries. On the contrary, from the lackluster plot, we can naturally feel the perfection of the heroine, the influence of her life on her, her hard work, resistance, her courage, and finally, her love for her daughter... …In fact, there is more than that. For characters with more than 10 lines, I can feel their lives as simple as stepping into a door. Their lives, their attitudes towards life, their hopes, their expectations for life, their requirements for life, or no requirements, are all naturally displayed in front of the audience, and then gently aroused strong resonance from the audience. No, the plot is not its fatal injury. The effect that can come out of a simple plot is its beauty.
Speaking of the director’s method, I don’t know any technical terms, so I only have one sentence to say, I like her way of telling stories like this.
Both the outside and the inside are beautiful, talented our screenwriter, director, and even one of the creators of the theme song, Adrienne Shelly, wish you happiness in another world, and make one after another loving school for your children, I Believe that he/she can feel it.
Finally, paste the lyrics of the full version of the theme song at the end of the credits. (I dictated it myself, don’t blame me if I was wrong...)

Published by Shelly/Wandering Rose Music (BMI)
Performed by Quincy Coleman

When the world is grey and bleak
Baby don't you cry
I will give you every bit of love that's in my heart
I will bake it up into a simple little pie
Baby, don't you cry, gonna make a pie
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Baby, don't be blue, gonna make for you
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Gonna make a pie from heaven above
Gonna be filled with strawberry love
Baby, don't you cry, gonna make a pie
Hold you forever in the middle of my heart

Baby here's the sun, baby here's the sky
Baby I'm your light and I'm your shelter
Baby you are mine, I could freeze the time
Keep you in my kitchen with me forever
Gonna be a pie from the heaven above
Gonna be filled with strawberry love
Baby, don't you cry, gonna make a pie
Hold you forever in the middle of my heart

oooh~~~

Gonna bake a pie from heaven above
Gonna be filled with butterscotch love
Gonna bake a pie from heaven above
Gonna be filled with banana cream love
Baby, don't you cry, gonna make a pie
Hold you forever, hold you forever, hold you forever in the middle of my heart

Waitress quotes

  • Jenna: I don't want you to save me. I don't need to be saved.

  • Earl: Hey. You remember what I said - don't you go lovin' that baby too much.

Jenna: I don't love you, Earl. I haven't loved you for years. I want a divorce.

Earl: [laughs] Well, that's not a funny joke. You got this new baby here, you shouldn't be making jokes like that...

Jenna: I want you the hell out of my life. You are never to touch me, ever again; I am done with you. If you ever come within six yards of me, I will flatten your sorry ass and I'll enjoy doin' it.
