Allison's pursuit of justice and his insistence on justice are indeed valuable. But Sean Penn’s interpretation really made me profound. It is the same as the change of consciousness in "Field Platoon" from realism to idealism. For the death of his teammates, Matthew and the other four were more angry in revenge, and Allison's heart was mixed with more sadness. Participating in war with humanity is inevitable, but in a desperate situation, he always hopes that the light of humanity will shine. In my mind, it is on par with "Deer Hunter" and "Field Platoon".
Unfinished. . .
