Recently I watched an "old" movie from 1997 called "Ed Private Channel". It was about the TV station that created a reality show in order to increase the ratings. The creator of this idea-TV station producer Yu Ai Starring Lun, wow. The protagonist of the reality show is an ordinary audio-visual store clerk she picked out of a million, starring Matthew McConaughey (when he was young, he simply felt broken). This reminds me of the Kardashian family's reality show, which has been 12 years + without knowing it, and the family has also reached the pinnacle of getting rich by selling their private lives. Although it feels like this movie was shot 20 years ago, the subject matter and content look very advanced today. Who would have thought that today, 20 years later, we would have used various live broadcast platforms to betray the public's virtual and real life and blossom everywhere and flood it?
As soon as the opening of this genre is like a snowball, conflicts accumulate more and more, and conflicts become more and more fierce. "War" is a fictional event movie that is about to break out. The most feared thing is that you can't justify it. If you are not careful, you will become top-heavy and anticlimactic. The ending of "Ed's Private Movie" is really clever. Every time I see this kind of movie that sets a certain specific scene, the characters and the plot conflict at the end, I feel very nervous, because even the viewers have to say "Oh my God, if it's me, how can I solve it? "Sigh, I will sweat for the protagonist in it. If the director and screenwriter didn't have a little skill, this movie would really be a complete failure. The reversal of the ending of "Ed's Private Channel" made me more admire, so that the whole film can be convincing at once, and it has become a good middle-class popcorn work. I don't want to make spoilers here, you can go and watch the movie for yourself.
