War is ruthless and people are passionate, Reivew on Flyboys

I watched "Flyboys" at home today. It is called "Heroes of Air Combat" in China, and the Chinese word always implies more meanings. Many people on the Internet say that this film is superficial and commercial. I think the film is good, at least not as bad as those people say.

Picture: No tracking missiles, no radar positioning, not even a cabin cover. Machine gun, pistol, body combat. This kind of air combat is so retro and beautiful.

Plot: I really don't think there is anything superficial. The emotional drama is very nice and clean. The whole film also highlights a kind of human care in a cold war. The scene where Rawlings was released by a German fighter was also very much liked. War is indifferent, and people are indeed flesh and blood.

The whole film about war thinking is also very interesting. The views on war and death are reflected in the dialogue. The ending Rawlings did not find Lucienne, and I am quite satisfied with this ending. To put it simply, that's all. Watching this movie is like picking up an old matchbox from many years ago.
