I have never discovered that Downton has so many vivid female characters before.
The second lady happily married her loved one, but because of her social status after marriage, she had to go to have tea and dinner with people she found bored. Her love for work and magazines could only be put aside.
The old lady is stubborn and conservative. She protects her shortcomings best and understands the feelings between her family the best, but she still wisely hopes that the third son-in-law will win the property back.
The eldest lady carried the entire manor without hesitation in the era of drastic change. Although she had too much insecurity and uncertainty about the future, she still insisted on maintaining it.
Mrs. Anna is smart and clever, Hughes is strict and solemn, Daisy is studious and innocent and enthusiastic (for fear that the fiancé Andy is not enthusiastic about life, so he will not dare to get married, it is so cute!).
The group portrait is so beautiful.
Carson is the guardian of the old age as always, but it is always a pleasure to watch him break the routine and do "bad things".
It was great for Barrow to have a line of emotions, he finally got to know his kind, and he could finally catch his breath.
Mosley's performance in front of the king and queen is simply a classic of the audience!
To tell the truth, I guessed that the second lady was pregnant, and that the old lady would die soon after being ill, but the conversation between her and the eldest lady, she calmly faced death and wanted to live up to the last day, especially...Matthew Mom doesn't know yet! so sad. When I thought that the two of them would never be able to quarrel anymore, maybe Downton was about to end.
It's really over.
Hope the people in Downton will live like this forever. Although there are always struggles and contradictions in life, you can bridge it, cherish it, and your home is always backing.
