Osan likes to tell Hitchcock-style suspense stories. As a young director, he is rare and proficient. Although his works often lack impact, they do not lose interest and are very visible. Osan’s [Provocative Murder] a few years ago infused a classic fairy tale with indulgent sexual desire, and his creativity was quite shocking. [Family of Lost Souls] dramatized the family's incest, very bold.
[Swimming Pool] is basically a story depicting obscenity and sexual fantasies. It maintains the structural features that Osan is good at, but sex is not its only theme. It is very much like an exquisite indoor psychodrama. Osun did not deliberately exaggerate the sensuality of sex, but constantly flirted with an emotion, a desire to make love. Then, he turned this kind of sexual restlessness into a motive for murder, which is the most commonly used method of expression in traditional thriller novels. Pornography and murder, one is constantly teasing, the other causes this kind of emotion to be interrupted unexpectedly, and then the author vaguely tells us that all of these are probably fictitious. As a result, this movie led the audience's sexual desire through three turns. When you suddenly realize that you have actually achieved nothing, you feel faintly interesting, interesting but boring in your heart. Maybe this is Osun, a Frenchman who is diligent in playing with boring, a dangerous enemy of erotic movies.
