Life is not perfect but still beautiful

Just after watching The Beautiful Life, I cried. I usually don’t get touched when I watch TV and movies, because the so-called tear-jerking stories that are now flooding the screen are either a Korean drama where one of the heroes and heroines died of a terminal illness, or a single parent who worked hard to raise it. Non-biological children and their biological fathers or mothers suddenly appeared in domestic TV dramas with extremely poor logic that caused various entanglements after the children had grown up. The former is boring, the latter is weird. Only when I saw my mother love me again did I cry as fiercely as this time.

The beautiful life is set against the background of World War II. The hero is a Jew, so his fate at that time can be imagined. He and his youngest son, like all Jews, were imprisoned in a concentration camp. He kept telling his son that they were playing games, and as long as they accumulated 1,000 points, they could win a tank. The innocent child believes his father's words and has been playing a game of life and death according to his father's instructions. In the end, this great father traded his life for the safety of his youngest son and his wife. Throughout the movie, the father always has a happy face, describing the "fun" game to his son in a cheerful tone, but he does not know that the audience outside the screen has long been crying.

I cry because I am afraid. I can't believe that Nazi Germany can be so cruel. Discrimination is inevitable, but the policy of ethnic cleansing is something that only the devil can think of and do. I am only 21 years old, and I have never experienced that kind of turbulent days. All the cruel impressions of Nazi Germany and military Japan come from history textbooks. For a long time, ethnic cleansing is just a noun in the mind, and there is not much thinking about its real content. In the process of watching this movie, I was really scared. How could a group of people have the idea of swearing to get rid of another group of people? Recalling what was said in the legal theory class, after the Second World War, the Gestapo tried a murderous Gestapo and asked him if he was convicted. He said: I followed the law at the time, and the law required me to do so. But in the end, the court still found him guilty and executed him. The reason is that draconian laws are illegal. Yes, when we have violated the natural goodness of humanity, humans are no longer humans or even beasts, but demons. The so-called law is a fork in the hands of the devil, helping the evildoer.

I cry because I am moved. Fatherly love is more than just buying you a piece of clothing today, and taking you to a good meal tomorrow. The deepest father's love is the care of the child's heart. Tears couldn't help but see the surprise expression on the little boy's face every time his father's words were fulfilled. Especially, when the American soldiers drove their tanks into the concentration camp at the end of the movie, and the promise of his father's tank general was fulfilled, I can remember the happy expression on the little boy's face for a lifetime. The whole human tragedy, in the eyes of the little boy, is a game that requires points to be earned. His childhood is just like other children's happy memories. These are all his father's life in exchange for.

After watching this movie and the "Wolf Totem" that I finished during the holiday, I thought that our own attitude towards life was too bad. The father in the movie can smile in that environment, and the young wolf can quickly regain a happy mood after being injured by a dog to ensure his growth. Why can't we happily meet every change? Life is beautiful is an attitude, a philosophy of being a man, a wolf, and a creation of nature. We ourselves have too many stupid assumptions, and we have too many misunderstandings caused by the lack of correct and effective information. But life is not perfect. life is not perfect but still beautiful. This is my own extension: life is not perfect but still beautiful.
