Not as good as the original legend

Legendary book
-------------------------------------- I
vaguely remembered when I was young Contacting a science fiction novel, never know the title, because the book cover has been torn. The hero Robert Neville in the story is investigating a mutated virus that exterminates humans. In the process, he has to fight the infected person who is like a zombie. It is very enjoyable to explore the battles one after another step by step. But the most special thing is that when describing zombie-like symptoms, almost all of them use medical principles to resolve the doubts in the minds of the interpreters. For example, being afraid of light is due to the severe complications of lupus erythematosus (Subacute Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus); not being able to look directly at the cross is a kind of religious delusional disorder (Delusional Disorders); Neville is the only remaining "leftover species" on earth "Zhong Gao Zhen Zhen" (in Cantonese: -O), just because he was bitten by a vampire bat with anti-virus serum, after the loss of the horse, Sai Weng accidentally caused the acquired immunity... and so on, the list goes on. Let alone the accuracy of the rationale, but the technical content of science fiction is quite high, and it is more convincing than pure weirdness.

Later, when I mentioned Richard Matheson in an English class, I realized that the sci-fi story without a cover was his masterpiece. Unlike the dumb #*?! thought of Ni Kuang Wesley’s dumb #*?! thought, this is the first enlightenment classic that attempts to provide a scientific basis for "zombification" (Vampirism), and it is also a reflection. Human Post-Apocalyptic works. Among the enlightened readers, there is Stephen King, the master horror who "looks at his works and can't sleep peacefully at night", and Harlan Ellison, the creator of Speculative Fiction who "let Star Trek fans worship as ancestors". The impact on Hollywood, its advent indirectly changed the stereotype of zombies on the screen and moved towards science fiction. Ultraviolet in 2006 was just the beginning.

In addition to the original story, there is also a wonderful book title [I Am Legend] (Chinese translation "I am a legend"). The interaction between Neville and the zombies is "You make the first day, I make the fifteenth.": In the daytime, Neville's aggressive removal of zombies has become an emotionless daily ritual; in the evening, a large number of zombies search for Neville and make it compulsory. Wincing a corner. Neville has been tossing and tossing so persistently, until the moment he was caught and executed alive, he realized that not only for all mankind, he is also the Legend in the eyes of the walking corpses, which is full of irony. Once you read the Surprising Unique Twist of the original layout, you will feel that the literal translation of the relative "Legend" is too flat, and lives up to the subtlety of the theme given by the title.

Failed to stick to the legendary movie
--------------------------------------------
For this Legend's interpretation, the movie version of Neville starring Will Smith is released, and I can't wait to see it first. In fact, it's easy to clarify the details of the plot, but don't be too idiot. However, after watching, I was a little bit unhappy and depressed. I felt that the film had four "passes" that caused serious injuries:

1—The plot turning point is too clichéd.
Once the moving plot is forced to change the tone, it is doomed to fail. The beginning of the previous stage is fascinating and very imaginative. Following the plot, you will fall into an involuntary surreal mood. This is the cool point of this film. Unexpectedly, in the latter period, Hengkong broke out the theory of political correctness, and suddenly turned into the main theme of the third-rate script, which is completely anti-climax. The final sermon monologue at the end of the play is both vulgar and old-fashioned, which is incompatible with the strenuous layout of the previous one. I really doubt whether writing half of the script was hit by the Writers Guild of America Strike, and I had to give Lanwei to Chinese screenwriters who are cheap and good at the main theme?

2—Zombies are too sloppy at first
Remake Jin Yong's martial arts novels into a movie. Imagine that the martial arts scenes have nothing to do with nothing. This is a kind of spiritual indifference to the "wu" in martial arts. The physical torture and inner strife suffered from a normal person becoming a zombie is the main key to compelling Neville to become a legend, and it is also the essence of the original work. These plots are completely ignored in the film. In fact, it is also the same for the zombie as the other protagonist. Kind of mental indifference. If a TV series that is too far away from Jin Yong’s original work will sound like a mother, then I have to protest, and to the grandma of this movie adapted from Legend: You can eat less pork if the price goes up, and the meat of the show is precious or not to be seen!

3—The dead light of the last days is too superficial.
Since the subtitle of the movie is The Last Man On Earth, you should stick to it to the end. The solitary atmosphere created by the empty city only with the WS's broadcast appeal has only visual effects and lacks soul shock. Coupled with the sudden emergence of a woman and a child who fled to a small town with people all of a sudden, it became less lonely. How did the end of the world come to infect the audience? If WS is excited to successfully develop a vaccine, but finds that there is no living person on the earth except him, that frustration will wake everyone up and loneliness will always be so cruel and even more lonely.

4—Scientific morality is too superficial.
Ten years ago, there was a science fiction film Contact that explored the contradictions between science and religion. Freed from the shackles, re-understand the mutual tolerance of the two and suddenly open up. Ten years later, the legend film, which is also a science fiction, has the proposition that DNA modification is God's patent or human's sword. It failed to follow the temptation to climb the peak of thinking, and instead confused the audience at the crossroads of resisting genetic technology. WS said in the film that "God does not need to be responsible for these, it is human beings who take the blame!" In fact, it does not light up the vital proposition, which is disappointing.

Although the film has some regrets, the glamorous performance of WS and the loyalty and loveliness of SAM have saved many points. WS not only reproduces the wonderful stand-up comedy of Tom Hanks in Cast Away, SAM frowns with the owner and surprises you, even beasts can act. It is people and dogs that made this movie. Although the original intention of the script is far from the original, it does not hinder the enjoyment of the story as a whole. The chance to see the empty Times Square in New York, the sadness is strange enough. There is a scene where WS is playing golf on the deck of an aircraft carrier and swinging forward. There is an impermanent water splash on the Atlantic side, which is unusually chic.

Spoiler further down, it's not good to sweep you Yaxing, but it's enough. Whether mankind kills itself or is deliberately fooled by God, it is better to be an audience and act as God to judge mankind!
