film The name comes from the poem "Eloisa to Abelard" by the British 18th century poet Alexander Pope. This poem comes from a true love tragedy in the 12th century in France.
Philosopher Pierre Abelard fell in love with Heloise, a 22-year-old student. For fear of affecting his status, Abelard only married Eloys in the country, and did not disclose the marriage. Eloise's uncle was furious when he heard the news and hired two men to castrate Abelard in the dead of night. Abrad, who suffered severe physical and mental damage, became a monk, and Eloise also entered the monastery. For the next ten years, the two had no contact at all. One day in the eleventh year, Abelard learned that his friend's life was not going well. "Eternal Sunshine of the Beautiful Mind" tells a story about amnestics. The
