"Inspirational" is actually a lie

I watched this movie on the recommendation of a friend, and I didn't even feel much. Maybe I was too evil.
The protagonist is inherently smart, it can be said that he stands out from the crowd, but he does not understand the use of his own wisdom. The protagonist always sees a smile on other people's faces, and he always frowns about all kinds of things.
It is said that this film is adapted from an autobiography. Perhaps the author (the protagonist) has a problem with his mentality to feel that all misfortune has come to him, selectively blocking or deliberately concealing his lucky side.
In fact, the protagonist did not make great efforts during the struggle. Others may not necessarily pay less than him, but he has challenges in life besides dealing with business. It is not so much that the protagonist finally succeeded or won the favor of luck through hard work, it is better to say that he just survived the most difficult moment.
At this point, I'm actually using the most malicious intent to speculate the author's intentions. I'm so evil. The most irritating thing in the world is to be deceived, and the most offensive thing is to use other people's desire to succeed in marketing.
The so-called "inspirational" is actually just a trick.

The Pursuit of Happyness quotes

  • Linda: [repeated line to Christopher Sr] Whatever, I don't care.

  • Christopher Gardner: The next day, after work, we just went to the beach. Far away from anything, everything. Just Christopher and me. Far away from busses and noise and a constant disappointment in my 10-gallon head... in myself. Because when I was young and I'd get an A on a history test or whatever... I'd get this good feeling about all the things I could be. And then I never became any of them.
