The film first reminded me of a Will Smith movie "I Am Legend" (I am a legend). Because the world is occupied by zombie and the protagonist is the last person. But when I read it on, I found that it was completely different. First, this movie is about a small person. The protagonist is a young boy, more introverted, more nerdy than loser, and he is always embarrassed by zombie. Unlike I am Legend, Rewell Smith is a "legend" and a hero as the name suggests. Second, this movie is really interesting and full of comedy. For example, the protagonist has a small book that records the winning rules against zombies, from the first "improving cardiopulmonary function" to the thirtieth item, which makes people laugh.
Reading further, the boy was with a few people: a redneck, a tough cowboy with a Southern American accent, but a soft side in his heart. A pair of sisters who depend on each other for their lives are scheming and deceiving, but they are actually forced by life. They have different plans, but because of the common enemy of zombies, they walked together until they finally went to a theme park, and the battle between man and zombies reached a climax. . . The theme park is really a wonderful place. The carousel, roller coaster, free fall, haunted house... are used to the extreme by the screenwriter and director, and the shooting method is a bit of Quentin Tarantino's exaggeration and humor.
Finally, the director and screenwriter also borrowed the protagonist to tell us a simple truth: don't escape from life, otherwise, what is the difference between you and the walking dead? I always like movies with themes, but I can't preach. But this movie is just for fun, and it's good to say a little warm truth.
And the point is that these actors are too likable. The four main actors are all very well performed, which makes people feel very real. They are all small people, but they just make people like them.
The zombie part, judging by me, an inexperienced person, is still more disgusting than expected. Please be prepared. But if you expect it to be a scary horror movie, then you will also be disappointed. If you want to watch a relaxing and humorous movie, this would be a good choice.
