First of all, I have to admit that I was attracted by the dorayaki dream of a robot cat when I was a child, but the cherry blossom rain scene at the beginning of the movie almost made me think that I had opened a "April Story" by mistake. The film's perfect image composition and reminiscent of Hirokazu-eda's narration made this film high expectations from the beginning. The cherry tree, the largest metaphor and symbol of the entire film, is hidden in a few unobtrusive details. At the beginning of the film, the foreshadowing is inadvertently planted from the tree Xilin asked who planted the cherry tree. At the end of the movie, there is no monument to plant trees after death, and the hint that the child is as big as the shopkeeper is enough to let us understand a hidden and unknown fact: the cherry tree in front of the door is actually a tree Xilin secretly secretly after the child was aborted It was planted, and it was planted in front of the shop owner and schoolgirl who had the same unfortunate experience. This also indicates that the cherry tree represents those pasts and experiences that are not accepted by society. This is also reflected in another, smaller detail in the film that almost never gets noticed: the three other girls accompanying the schoolgirl are quite impressed by the inadvertent cherry blossoms in the dorayaki when they eat it for the first time. Dissatisfaction, and the obvious anger of the shopkeeper after hearing the complaint, also shows the society's oppression and discrimination against marginalized and disadvantaged groups, as well as the group's own attitude of resistance and eagerness to be accepted. Emotional attitude is contained in the small details, this film is the essence of Hirokazu Koreeda. However, the film still went wrong in two places. The first problem is that the background of the three people's oppression and discrimination is insufficient. Almost all of them are only briefly mentioned, some only have a few shots, and some even don't even have images. It's like having a perfect barrel and launch system, but the missile itself is not powerful enough, resulting in a lack of empathy. And the second problem of the movie is at the end. After advancing slowly and affectionately for an hour and a half, in the last 20 minutes or so, he suddenly exerted too much force. The common problem of Japanese dramas who love to preach is vividly reflected here. The director has worked so hard to shoot for so long, and we naturally understand what we want to say. The shopkeeper's hawking also seemed superfluous, ruining the look and feel of the entire movie. If I were asked to shoot, I would choose to delete all the following content, receive the relics after learning of the death, and end the whole story with one person and one tree in the cherry blossom forest, which is obviously more in line with the style of the movie. For the mountain nine ren, I fell short of success. What a pity, what a pity.
