Answers to why the Germans didn't check out the shells
This t-3485 is a vehicle that was destroyed and recovered by the German army. It can be seen that the crew members are basically dead inside. I don’t know how many days it has been on the battlefield. It is loaded on the train and transported to the rear school. The dead people inside are estimated to rot. Clearly, the shells are on the bottom of the tank, which is likely to be covered by the corpse, not to mention that the inside of the tank is opaque and the lights are not turned on, and the vision is dim. There is flesh and blood hanging on it, and the floor is covered with blood, flesh and oil, and it is pitch black. Which German would go in and open the carrion and examine it carefully.
There are also performances in the film. After the car was transported inside, the hatch was opened, and several people hid behind, and later cleaned up and covered their mouths and noses. It's all about the stench inside.
