Taking advantage of the long vacation, I can be unscrupulous and unconscious every day, and stay up late to watch "Talking about Love and Dancing" (Actually, I prefer the literal translation of the title shall we dance). A very stylish film with a unique perspective and interpretation of ballroom dancing. The film tells the story of a middle-aged company employee, Sugiyama, who takes the subway every day after get off work. When the subway passes a certain station, he can see a dance studio. Because he is infatuated with the dance teacher, he decides to go to the dance studio to learn dance. It seems ordinary. However, the director has explained the true meaning of ballroom dancing with his unique perspective and well-arranged plot, and also reflected many social phenomena and the contradictions between people's thoughts on ballroom dancing. After watching the whole film, I didn't feel sleepy at all, and the film length of more than 2 hours was not boring. On the contrary, the more I look, the more energetic and motivated I become, and my heart is full of hope and positive energy for life. Maybe I watched this film a few years ago, and I may not be able to fully appreciate the many thoughts and a state that I want to express in the film. I am lucky to have encountered it now, the time is just right, and I did not miss it. I think that there will be many small episodes in life, just like the male protagonist in the movie. Some episodes are like a splendid fireworks, illuminating new hope for life, illuminating the journey ahead, rekindling new passions in life, so that the original boring and single life will no longer continue, and I am Filled with a steady stream of energy. Maybe time flies, but whenever I recall such an experience, I must still be moved. The male protagonist in the movie is a microcosm of society. I believe that in real life, you, me, and him will have such episodes. I especially like the sentence that the female protagonist said to the male protagonist at the end of the film, "shall we dance?", which marked a perfect ending for the movie. You, can you dance freely in your life? 2015.2.22 at 5:00 am
