Amazing bow and arrow

The picture of "Bow" is fresh and beautiful, the rhythm is gentle, and even the lines are pitiful.
Looking back now, in fact, in the whole movie, the two protagonists, the old man and the little girl, didn't actually say a word!
Or not letting the audience hear their language at all.

At first, I thought it was a pair of grandfather and grandson who depended on each other. As the plot developed, it became clear that the old man picked up a girl and planned to marry her when she turned 17 years old.
When this happened, it made people feel cruel.
The little girl I picked up at the age of 6, took her to the boat and stayed there for ten years, never seeing land.
And she is also ready to occupy her rightfully after she is 17 years old.

For some reason, when the truth came out, I immediately thought of my grandma.
The poor grandmother felt a lot like the old man.
It was only after I grew up that I realized that the reason why my grandmother liked me so much, and other children, was that I didn’t want to be lonely.
In order to keep us, she forced us to stay with her when we were very young, even against our will.

I still remember that time when my parents were not in my hometown, and my younger brother, who went back with me, also drove back to the city by himself.
And I can't go back, I'm going to my grandfather's house to stay with my cousin.
But grandma forcibly refused to give it, and insisted on keeping me.
She was the only old man and I left in the whole home. At night, the scene was dreary and terrifying.
No one even played with me during the day, I really wanted to go to my cousin, but thinking that my grandma would be sad, I had to stay again.
In order to comfort me and not let me go, my grandmother bought delicious food for me every day.
For the whole vacation I stayed with an old man in a small village with few people, until my mother came to pick me up.

After that, I never offered to go back because I was afraid.

The girl is charming, and for two-thirds of the film she is smiling without a single line.
The other third was the anger at the old man when he met the boy and started to forcibly stop her.
The girl is so attractive. With her white and tender skin, cheerful personality, and pure personality, if she really appeared in front of her, she would immediately bow down to the pomegranate skirt.
Boy I like it too. Clean, handsome, and persistent, with love for girls, but not showing reluctance.

The most tangled thing in the second half of the film is whether the girl can get rid of the old man's control and finally return to land.
Two factors are troubling.
One is that many of Kim Ki-duk's films end bleak. So I wondered if the old man, the girl, died with the boy who came to take her at the end of the film?
Another factor is the "bow". It is not only the title of the film, but also a prop that runs through the entire film.
The old man's bow skills can be said to be superb. For those who were on the boat for leisure, if someone felt that there was something wrong with the girl, the old man did not hesitate to take out his sword to teach them a lesson.
Facing the boy who might take the girl away at any time, this old man who had been waiting ten years for his wish was in front of him, and he could take out his bow for fortune-telling at any time and stab the boy with a sword.
In the end he did too. But the girl stood in front of him. Let him give up the sword in his hand.

The old man who let go of the girl and was about to seek death, made the girl agree to marry him.
This is really confusing. The two held a traditional Korean wedding on the boat while the boy watched.
Is the director going to give us such an ending? !

Then the groom took the bride out to sea to prepare for the final procedure.
Clothes have been taken off.
At this time, my heart is really broken, is that so?
However, the old man did not continue, he picked up the bow and pulled the erhu.
And the girl fell asleep under the white sheets to the sound of erhu.
The old man picked up an arrow, wound it, aimed it at the girl, turned to the sky, and shot it.
Then he jumped into the sea.

Of course, the most dramatic part of the film is that the girl actually has sex in her dream.
The object was the sword that the old man had already photographed in the air, and it finally fell and was inserted between the girl's legs.
Then the girl starts to have sex.
This scene is really messed up, and the boy on a boat next to him can't quite understand anything but something.
The girl's lustful behavior actually made herself bleed.

Since then, the boy can finally take the girl away.
When leaving, the girl smiled and said goodbye to the sinking ship that had lived for ten years.

The sword that only makes the girl forget her love in her dream (can you say so) and make love, of course, represents the old man.
The old man fulfilled his wish that he had been waiting for ten years, married the girl, and got the girl's first time (the arrow was obtained instead of him), and at the same time he did not hurt the girl (how to say that the sword is not himself) , gave the girl freedom again.
And the girl can also follow the boy without worry.
This is the final outcome I can think of.
