In Kim Ki-duk's twelfth film, the protagonist of the light source's plan is an old man in his 60s. A 16-year-old girl is permanently drifting on her seabed. The film has no bias, and both the girl and the old have their own footholds. The point, the so-called kindness without desire and desire is simply a utopian dream in the film, and it turns out that it does not exist. Quiet is indeed a very good movie, but it adds a little folklore and the kind of oriental myth and fantasy. If it is just because it caters to international tastes, it is kitsch.
