A story of a man and two women.
a man torn by two worlds
For that illusory oriental woman, for the sentence come back, or I shall die, a
man has traveled almost the entire earth, traveled through mountains and rivers, and went through hunger, cold and suffering, and
came to a small village in Japan to seek the face of a woman.
His wife was waiting for him at home in France.
Outside is the garden he built for his wife, full of lilies.
After the vicissitudes of life, exhausted, he came back. in silence.
Accidentally, he received a letter from Japan,
a lingering love letter, the last of the letter is Farewell.
He knelt before his wife's sick bed and confessed to his wife.
His wife stroked him, saying that, needless to say, she knew everything.
After his wife died, he realized that the person who wrote the letter was the wife.
When his wife was alive, he always wanted to become the oriental woman he missed day and night.
He came to his senses and said it was her.
He was accompanied by a garden full of lilies and endless remorse.
For a man,
his wife is "the bright moonlight in front of the window", while the oriental woman is "the cinnabar mole on the heart".
After losing the bright moonlight, he found out that his wife is actually his own cinnabar mole.
As an actor, I always feel that Keira Knightley lacks a bit of femininity and is a little thin, but her voice is very tense.
The rhythm of the film is slow, and the music is slightly monotonous.
The picture is beautiful, and the lines are very concise.
