Lenu and Lila are small children in a small town. In elementary school, one of them was a "good boy" in the eyes of the teacher and the other was a "bad boy". Lila showed talents in mathematics, language, and painting in elementary school. Unfortunately, because of her family background and her parents' thinking, she was forced to help her family after finishing primary school (with all A grades). Not even if the teacher grinds his tongue (parents disagree). Lenu also almost dropped out of school, but fortunately, she gave in in front of her parents and my teacher. Lenu went to school and went to high school (the first season only has 8 episodes). At the same time, maybe it was Lenu's excellence and other people's praise. With Lila, Lila worked hard at her father's shoe store while trying to squeeze time to study. She worked hard silently to "compete" with Lenu. For example, Lenu finished the summer vacation of junior high school and told Lila that she was going to high school. Learning Greek, Renou borrowed books from the library ahead of her, and began to learn Greek by herself. Another example is that when Lenu was in junior high school, Lila often went to the library to borrow books. In the end, because she borrowed too many books in the name of her father and brother, she was rated as the most borrowed person of the year by the library, ranking the top few. All of them belong to Lila's family, but she is actually the only one in their family who reads books. The two girls are very good. They have been fighting against fate. When they were young, they wanted to see the outside world. When they grew up, they exchanged the impact of the outside world on them. Most of the whole play tells Lila's story from Lenu's point of view. Sometimes they admire each other, and sometimes they are considerate of each other. When the family can't deal with Lila, it is Lenu's little sister who comes forward to persuade him. Life is not smooth sailing, there are frustrations, betrayals, joys and jealousies. They care about each other and understand every word the other party says, unlike those men who are full of love. As time passed, from elementary school to marriage, the friendship between Lenu and Lila became more precious and long-lasting. From the reader's point of view, I really envy these little sisters. After watching the TV series, I want to see the original book, maybe the description of the characters is more comprehensive and detailed.
