The film attracted me from the very beginning. In fact, I never dared to watch Korean films because the Korean films I watched several times were too artistic, which made me feel pale and powerless, so I always refused. This film laid a foreshadowing from the beginning. It's not artificial, it makes people want to know some relationship between this gorgeously dressed old man and a young girl's corpse, but after watching it, I was moved by the director's good use of the connection between the events and the freehand shots. The poem is nothing but a A representation that embraces the good and the good in the power of human nature, and really speaks to the soul world of an old woman.
1. Be yourself. An elderly woman in the lower class was dressed in unusual fashion, walking unhurriedly, with bright eyes, just like a noble lady. In this world, the vast majority of people are in the family, where we come from and where we go is a big family, which requires us to establish an absolute sense of family, but I have been gradually obliterated over time. The old woman in the film has a kind of fanatical pursuit of beautiful things. Even if she is at the bottom, she still loves the things in life, so when her grandson makes an unforgivable mistake, she does not absolutely want to free her. The awareness of life still exists.
2. Destruction. A person who expects nothing in life, some kind of important pillar in the spiritual world is an important force for her to face reality, just as she appreciates and absolutely believes in good things. And the mistakes made by the grandson and the vulgar words of the people around her made her feel hopeless. Once the things she absolutely believed in were destroyed, her soul would die.
3. I especially like two lenses. The shot of the grandmother taking a bath at the employer's house, people can only release certain things under certain circumstances. The final flowing shot expresses the passing of time and the corresponding feeling very clearly.
4. The beauty of the girlhood, the persistence of the old age.
