After I read it, I was in a kind of confusion. Why intertwine poetry with a crime? Miko has always wanted to write a poem, or she has always wanted to find her own. On the other hand, she is caught in a sin, and her grandson is a rapist.
Meizi tried her best to find Shixiang, but was interrupted again and again by the affairs of her grandson. Sin shines brightly in the sun, but no one wants to expose it. The boys still lived comfortably, and the fathers of the children had no guilt. A life equals money.
Miko is just a little powerless old lady. Although she is the oldest, her heart is the purest. She tried to observe an apple according to what the teacher said. She heard that the girl's heart would ache when she died, and she always had an inexplicable feeling in her heart when she saw beautiful flowers and beautiful river water. But these feelings are indescribable emotions in her heart, and she doesn't seem to understand why she is different from others. I think this is the inner emotion of a poet, a poet's natural pity for life. Miko seems to be a poet by nature.
Because she is born with poetic romance and boundless innocence, she will go to the flower to think hard, and will return to the place where the girl committed suicide to seek something. For her, everything is alive. Everything that we feel is lifeless, in her opinion, can be talked about. Even though, Miko asked again and again, how to write a poem? In fact, the answer lies in her own heart. There is a poet in her heart, but she just needs to find time to wake her up.
It is precisely because of Miko's natural compassion for life that she is the most guilty person. If she is just an ordinary old lady, she has experienced too much and sees too much life and death, perhaps she will be the most numb of all parents. But she is not, her psychology seems to stay in the girlhood forever, kind and pure. In the face of sin, forbearance is the biggest torture for her. If Meizi is not a born poet, perhaps, all her inner contradictions cannot be explained, and all her different actions cannot be explained.
For such a role, if Miko is not a poet, what else can she be?
