The film is formed by the intersection of the two main lines of "writing poetry" and "sexual assault case" .
A fashionably dressed old lady, Yang Meizi, lives with her grandson. They live on grants and the old lady's part-time jobs. The old lady gradually became forgetful. She saw a small advertisement for poetry training on the street, so she signed up for the training and began to learn to write poetry. However, Yang Meizi, who was struggling to find "Poetry Thinking", could not write anything even though she carefully observed her life.
A girl committed suicide by jumping into a river in a small town. When Yang Meizi came back from the hospital, she saw the cry of the girl's mother who came to recognize her body. After returning home, she asked the grandson of a grade about the girl's situation, but was prevaricates by the grandson. And what the grandson and 5 other classmates were "conspiring" at home, Yang Meizi had no way of knowing.
On this day, the father of the grandson's classmate found Yang Meizi, so the two lines began to cross:
1. Yang Meizi was told by other parents that her grandson and five classmates had sexually assaulted the girl. The parents sat together without any remorse and were discussing how to raise money privately to resolve the matter. She got up and went outside, facing the cockscomb, and wrote "Flowers as red as blood";
2. When she got home, she asked her grandson why, but he avoided him by covering his head with a quilt. Then he came to school and saw these young people who had committed crimes playing ball casually, she wrote: "Bird. What songs do you sing?";
3. The results of the examination in the hospital came out, she was told that in the early stage of Alzheimer's disease, she wrote "time passes, flowers wither";
4. She came to the bridge where the girl jumped into the river and wanted to write something in front of the river, but she didn't write it out. The rain wet the blank notebook;
5. In order to keep her job, she met the sexual needs of the president. After she couldn't get the money, she had to ask the president for money. On the way to the girl's mother, she saw apricots falling from the tree, and wrote "Apricots fell to the ground, willing to be trampled for rebirth";
6. He brought the portrait of the girl to his home and put it in front of his grandson, but the grandson only watched it for a second and then turned it on to watch TV without any regrets. She chose to hand over her grandson to the police, and wrote the first poem of her life, "The Song of Agnes", to the dead girl:

Evaluation
1. Like Lee Changdong's other films, it's calm but powerful . Writing poetry is such a beautiful thing, but it is actually intertwined with juvenile delinquency. Such a script may only be created by screenwriter Li Cangdong, and such a movie may only be made by director Li Cangdong. The film did not face the tragic crime scene, but made a strong case for Yang Mezi who learned the truth and everyone else (a few criminal teenagers who were indifferent and unrepentant, the school administrator who just wanted to calm down, and a few parents who ignored the dead and just protected the calf). The comparison, which is right and which is wrong, will be judged.
2. What a wonderful old lady, ruined by her unsatisfactory grandson and indifferent world. At the end, the appearance of the girl, that is, the appearance of Yang Meizi, who cannot atone for her sins, has merged with the girl and floated together on the slow river.
