An adventure about youth

Spent an afternoon watching the movie, even though it's only 133 minutes long. I like the large scenes in Japanese literary films. For example, in this film, the large green grass and Naoko and Watanabe walked in the middle of the summer morning with their shoulders in their arms, and the dew wet their hair, which made me feel very warm. Perhaps our youth is not as tortuous as theirs, and we need to face life and death, but it is unrestrained, unscrupulous, and will never return. Since director Chen Yingying has created such a youth image for us, why can't we calm down? Accept that, in my opinion, youth has infinite possibilities, not what we always have in our minds.
I remember Shunji Iwai's "Flower and Alice" that I saw a long time ago. It is also a movie about youth, but it is not the same. I like the relationship between Naoko and Watanabe, although in the end, Naoko didn't fall in love with Watanabe, but it didn't affect their relationship. There is also Midori, a elf-like girl. I was moved by the paragraph she said to Watanabe on the phone: "

...You can do anything to me, but you can't hurt me."

If it is humble, it is an incomplete love, but Midori is still happy, she finally got what she wanted.

There is no right or wrong in youth, as long as it can be reproduced in future memories, it is worth it. Whether it is love or friendship, it is our most precious collection.

Bless the youth, the years are quiet.

  • Naoko: Please remember me forever. Please always remember that I existed and was here by your side. Will you promise?

Toru Watanabe: I promise I'll always remember.

  • Toru Watanabe: With each passing season, I grow father away from the dead. Kizuki remains 17. Naoko remains 21. For eternity.
