Anyone who has read Murakami's novels knows that Murakami's books, no matter whether they are novels, novels or short stories, are full of loneliness from beginning to end. I enjoy the loneliness without nausea, often after reading his books you will even start thinking about your own life. I downloaded this "Norwegian Forest" directed by Chen Yingying from the Internet and hesitated to watch it, for fear of disappointment. . . However, as a movie, it will not always be the same as the original, and it is not easy to please the enthusiastic readers of the novel. Self-breakthrough, only by heart, not broken, in fact, no matter how good or bad it is, it is a kind of progress.
The movie is still different from what I imagined, and the director can't satisfy everyone's imagination of the novel. The biggest flaw of this movie is the lack of loneliness like Murakami. The whole movie feels like it wants to give people a sense of loneliness. But there is always an uncomfortable feeling. This kind of loneliness is not natural but deliberately crafted. In clear words, it is the kind of loneliness that is not mainstream now. You can understand the meaning of this.
When the grown-up Naoko first appeared in front of my eyes, my first feeling was "how is it so ugly", I forgot the description in the novel that Naoko's sister is ugly. As far as Murakami's novels are concerned, even if she is not a big beauty, she will not be so ugly. Naoko in the novel brings a sense of melancholy and indifference to the world because of the departure of her lover, while Naoko played by Kikuchi Rinko presents a kind of melancholy. Naturally dull, without the aura of Naoko, it seems that they are all beautiful women. Shu Qi feels comfortable, while Fan Bingbing makes people feel nauseous when they see it. And Luzi, also lacks the natural liveliness, Mizugen Kiko's Midori is also performed. Good actors are acting, but the audience is deeply aware of the feelings, but their performances are real performances.
.
If you just watch Kenichi Matsuyama walking there or they have some super friendship in this movie, you will ignore that this is a movie based on Murakami's novel, only when the protagonists say those words full of Murakami symbols, you will It will suddenly dawn on me that I am watching "Norwegian Forest", only then will I find the bits and pieces of the novels I once read, and will I feel the moving once, but still that sentence, in such a movie that lacks the loneliness from the heart The appearance of Murakami-style vocabulary abruptly will appear nondescript.
